I've often wondered what levels of hypocrisy might exist within the Pro-Life Republican Politicians.
Republicans abhor abortions – unless it’s for their mistress, of course
Meet Scott Lloyd, the head of the Office of Refugee Resettlement
Or an anti-gay-pastor being gay? Confirmation bias? Looking to the exception to project a norm? We often build up our own beliefs, upon the premise, but shouldn't we check them lest we live off our own lies? One of my cousin's sent something similar on Facebook, but he used 'pro-life' instead of 'Republican.'
Maybe I'm the exception to the rule (pro-life, not necessarily republican, I vote opportunistically for whoever seems the most decent and honest and possibly shares some of my values), but I support those growing kids and even volunteer and support attempts to help adults in foodbanks and rescue missions. I don't think we are all hypocrites, at least intentionally, and I don't believe all politicians have mistresses on the side. And I don't believe all Republican politicians are just 'pro-life' to get into good retirement plans. I might be naive though...
I could see, not in the too distant future, death camps for Christians, provided the rest of society believes the hype...
