Well let's define first where feminism began.

I asked you why women wouldn't want to be treated as women. It's a simple question but I can understand why the answer would make you uncomfortable.

Fundamentally, it was where women wanted the right to vote and be in electoral offices, otherwise known as the women's suffrage movement.

This was not a movement pertaining to misogyny.

Depends on the definition you use. Hatred? Likely not. An ingrained prejudice against? Absolutely. When men think it reasonable to suggest women are incapable of the rational discernment that would make their vote informed that's evidence in support of the argument using misogyny as the root.

Women wanted to participate in political dealings, and this was largely something of unmarried or otherwise independent women.

Divorce is mostly fueled by either financial woes or marital infidelity. Women have, historically, overwhelmingly been the moving party and men have, historically, been the party adjudicated as being in the wrong.
