Kyle Rittenhouse's actions were justified as self defense against a violent crowd that was attacking him and others and committing arson

If Rittenhouse had shot the morons who attacked him merely for carrying guns, his actions would not have been justified

OK, got it, How you even think it makes sense for a 17 year old to cross state lines with a big ol scary weapon to, what, protect the property of people he does not know. Like that vigilantism hunh?

15 miles from home, in the community in which he worked as a volunteer lifeguard at a community pool

the same community in which he was seen earlier in the day scrubbing graffitti off the walls of local businesses

the community in which a local business had been set on fire the night before, the business he was there to protect

Perhaps you're not from the US, but state lines don't mean much here, community does

I live in the northeast US. and think you need to suggest to the Georgia Highway patrol when you drive there with your NY plates that state lines dont mean much?
Laws are different in each state, one of the reasons state lines matter, which is why apparently both sides in Wisconsin were able to run around with loaded weapons.
The poor kid was a "wannabe" soldier/EMT and apparently a few loads shy of a full load. Don't defend him, what he did was stupid and indefensible. 2 people are dead. Why, because Kyle thought someone's business was worth the chance to shoot someone. I also think that young Kyle was in violation of WI law because of his age.

You're assuming that if the right-wing terrorists aren't white supremacists, they wouldn't support Trump. Not all of them are white supremacists. Trump encouraged right-wing antigovernment extremists in Michigan, who were not outwardly racists.

Racism is only one thread of the fabric of hate Trump has woven together.​
