The laws that allowed millions of guns to exist in the first place, seem wrong, the damage has already been done. Any attempt to put this bad law right is going to be fraught with problems. And yes, it is fair to say that it will be the honest citizens who will hand their guns in first.
We should still live by God's law, to love and pray for our enemies.
