This quote above about keeping the commandments was not addressed to the disciples/Christians, but rather to those who are under the curse of the law. This man with no faith asked Jesus what good thing he needed to do to get eternal life. Under the law (and without faith), one would have to follow the law perfectly (which would be impossible) in order to be considered righteous.

The greatest fear of the America military has been Homosexuality. The first fear is the breakdown of order in the rank, and also the willingness of those who would continue to serve. Killing homos could protect their neighbor. You do not know what you are talking about. The Gentiles did not have the written laws as did the Hebrews. So therefore the Gentile were a law unto themselves. So by keeping the basic concept of love they were keeping the moral laws.

We are a grafted branch into Judaism, not the other way around. The Old Covenant law of circumcision has been done away with, along with the old priesthood and festivals. Yahwah's moral laws remain.

If there is such a thing as freedom of religion, then how is it that Christians are being sued and imprisoned for their beliefs? How or who started this attack on Christians?

We still have freedom of religion in America but for the longest time religious people in Government have imposed their religion on everyone else.

God created Gay people as Gay, some Christians have just discriminated against them based on their own fears and intolerance.
