yeah right

they are the ones electing democrats
Chrys have you ever wondered why Catholic women are statistically the greatest users of abortion services? Perhaps it is because the RCC stands against birth control. If the Rcc would embrace birth control it could then take the position that there is no excuse for an abortion. See how that works?

no I don't wonder about that
and
I don't wonder about over half of the catholics voting for obama

I don't see how that works
for you there is always an excuse
and
you may never understand principle

I understand principles very well. My Grandmother was Catholic and died from a back alley abortion long before RvW. Why? Well she had no access to birth control and the church prohibited it. So after having too many children for her husband who was struggling to survive economically she was desperate when she once again became with child. One more mouth to feed when her living children were barely fed and clothed. One more to feed and probably that would be followed by another. Have you ever known the despair of a mother who can't feed her children even adequately? I doubt it.

Would you like the rest of the story? My father and his sisters became orphans after their mother died from complications of the unsanitary and illegal abortion. My great aunt took them in and their father went off to find another woman. She was not Catholic and she wanted no children. He left the church and never looked back either at the RCC or his abandoned children.

Yes, please educate me on principles.

that is a sad sorry story
but
no one is responsible for that back alley abortion other than those in the back alley
don't look for others to blame
when you or someone you love screws up

CatholicCrusader's Raging Cracker Award was Raging Cracker of the Week.

Also, does Chrysostom know that it's July? If he does know that it's July, he wins the Premature Annual Awards Award. If he doesn't know that it's July, we probably ought to to just say something like "hi there Chrysostom, and how are you doing today?"

It is not a matter of blame. The question that should be asked is why do women have abortions. The answer is not that complicated. It is because some of us end up pregnant and in economic situations that are not viable. Faced with a choice of feeding the children I have versus having another and seeing all of them underfed the answer, as atrocious as it may be, is abortion.

Chrys you really can not appreciate this. It is not something you have or can ever face.

Oh, you're right... I'll fix that, and you can add future weekly award winners.

It looks like another award is due. Congratulations, chrys!
