1jn 2-1 doesn't say we need to confess. It says basically not to worry about it and keep moving forward in Christ because Jesus has it covered.

1:9 is a one time event that takes away all sin. And his audience is non-christians. Proof is 1:3

This is one of half truth spreaders quote.

examine how he is misusing the verses to justify his cheap salvation..

And they they have guys like this and refuse to defrock them and enter into racketeering by trying to cover it up by moving this waste of human flesh where he can abuse more kids.

The headline 'ex-priest' is wrong.. the dude is still a priest.

and the genocide it participated in in Rwanda...

And the 30,000 kids it kidnapped in Spain (and we were worried about 200 kidnapped kids in africa)...

Money laundering at the Vatican bank is still going in in spite of your Popes efforts.

etc...etc...

The few good deeds it does are not offset by the total amount of corruption it represents.

Jesus clearly commanded His followers to teach everyone to obey His commands.

Yet, so many Christians preach obeying Him is not get you salvation.

Just amazing.

Too many seem to want cheap salvation which will not save them.
When will you learn the following;

Ephesians 2:8-9New American Standard Bible (NASB)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Salvation is a gift. As Delmar said, it's free.

Vs. your easy, cheap workism?

And "Jesus clearly commanded His followers to teach everyone to obey His commands," which included selling all you have, showing yourself to a Levitical priest, go to Jerusalem 3 times/year, to keep 3 "appointed times"...........................................................

Do it.

So there. Good day to you, sir.

First get saved?

As if that were possible by the power of any human?

I thought you already knew that Salvation was Given to those
Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the World 2 Tim. 1:9.

Salvation is given to those who call upon the name of the Lord.

Correction!

Calling upon the name of the Lord is the evidence of Salvation.
How do we know? One must first be Quickened [Born of the Spirit;
made Spiritually Alive] before they can call upon the Name of the Lord:

Ps. 80:18b
quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.

Calling upon the Name of the Lord by the natural man still in the flesh,
cannot please God Rom. 8:7-8!

Back at you. Correction to you!

2 Peter 3:9 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

I have yet to cross paths with a Calvinist that will answer this: "How did you know
you were of the Elect?" Nobody wants to answer that question?

None of His Elect Titus 1:1-2 will perish because Christ was their Surety Heb. 7:22 from Everlasting 2 Tim. 1:9!
