Here's news from the UK. Their lockdown costs are, and I quote "unsustainable". Whatever are AB, eider, and others going to do since they want to be on lockdown for at least another year? It seems the damage from the lockdown is greater than the damage from the virus.

More than half of British adults are now receiving money from the state, it emerged today - as Chancellor Rishi Sunak warned the situation is 'not sustainable'.

The scale of the impact of the coronavirus lockdown is becoming clearer after the government revealed it is subsidising the wages of 6.3million workers under its furlough scheme.

Meanwhile, more than 1.8million new claims for Universal Credit have been received, as people find their incomes slashed by the crisis.

If the unemployed, 5.4million public sector workers and 12million pensioners are taken into account, the state now pays just over half the 52million UK adults.

In an interview last night, Mr Sunak tried to reassure workers and businesses that they will not face a 'cliff edge' of subsidies being withdrawn immediately when lockdown measures are eased.

But amid signs of strains within government about the huge burden on the country's finances, Mr Sunak pointed out that the furlough scheme could soon be costing the same as the NHS budget.

'I'm working, as we speak, to figure out the most effective way to wind down the (furlough) scheme and to ease people back into work in a measured way,' he told ITV.

'As some scenarios have suggested, we are potentially spending as much on the furlough scheme as we do on the NHS, for example. Clearly that is not a sustainable situation.'

Now what the UK needs to do is put UBI in place then they can "help" everyone in the UK. Why stop at just a little over 50% of their population? Fund everybody. It works. That's what the socialist dream is all about. Everybody lives off the government.

In further news from the UK it's plain to see that the chinese virus is bigoted. It targets fat people, ethnic minorities, men, etc.... It's plainly targeting specific groups of people and showing a complete disregard for political correctness. So when are you socialists going to put an end to this madness? Will you just shun it, call it a nazi, have a big protest march against it, have a big deep state investigation and impeach it, have a big show trial, lie about it incessantly, something. Anything to stop this massive amount of political incorrectness.

This massive amount political incorrectness by this chinese virus is going to drive me nuts. It's horrible. You would think that the Chinese, being such a wonderful bunch of socialists would not, could not, create such a politically incorrect entity. But, facts are facts.

No. It's plain logic- why infect your own people first? why hurt your own best markets? And it so happens that the US intelligence community, along with scientists who study the genetics of viruses, say the same- it's not man-made.

Why aren't they rummaging through garbage heaps to find something to eat in Norway, Finland, Sweden, etc?

And now, despite our communal efforts to support a very tough lock-down routine, our losses have topped with 30,000 deaths.
But our NHS held out..... it's still there. Somehow the peak has leveled out........

The two threads, above, show either the baiting of a sick troll, or a loss of reason causing such contradicting threads.
So which is it?
Was a communal determination to lock-down a wise decision throughout the UK and its people, or the pathetic weakness that you have tried to portray right through this thread?
