All! And why did all men sin?

Nice try on dodging the point.

Death comes to us because we sin.

Law came to us because Adam sinned, and the law arouses the sinful passions (Rom 7:5), and when we follow those sinful passions, we sin, are unrighteous, and death comes to us.

Wrong.

Romans 5

this simply demonstrates the problem with your theology. Your response was laughable.

I read the whole thing, and you twisted Romans 5 up so badly that the simple response was all that was necessary.

Prove it, pig.

You cannot dispute the post, because the only ammunition you have is what someone else tells you. Pigs cannot think for themselves, beyond slopping around in the mud and grunting on occasion.

I already told you that the answer is all men sinned, as the bible clearly states. YOU refuse to answer why all men sinned.

You are inept at bible exegesis, and inept at debate.

Are you trying to get on the ignore list of everyone who disagrees with you?

I answered your question: All sin because we know the law, and the law arouses sinful passions.

Then how were all men condemned for sin who had not sinned in the likeness of Adam and when there was no law?

I didn't know pigs were capable of any kind of exegesis. :sigh:

The only ones who were around when the law was unknown were Adam and Eve. When they sinned, they gained the knowledge of good and evil, which is passed on to us all.

No. Arminianism is a free will theism, but Calvinism is more deterministic. They are diametrically opposed views, even though they agree on exhaustive foreknowledge (one issue among many), but for totally different reasons.

TULIP (core 5-point Calvinism) is the opposite of the Arminian position on every point, not just a compromise of the core principles.

Romans 5:12 - 21 Statements concerning sin and death.

1.Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men

2. death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression

3. For if through the offence of one many be dead,

4. the judgment was by one to condemnation,

5. by one man's offence death reigned by one

6. as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation

7. by one man's disobedience many were made sinners,

8. law entered, that the offence might abound.

9. sin hath reigned unto death,

Wrong! Wow you don't know anything about the bible...

"for until the Law sin was in the world; but sin is not imputed when there is no law."

"Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come."

No one sinned in the likeness of Adam, because there was no law to imput their sin. They were not dead because of their sin, they were dead because of one man's sin!

1. "...by the transgression of the one the many died"

2. "...judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation"

3. "For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one"

4. "...through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men"

5. "...through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners"

6. "...sin reigned in death"

The bible just proved you to be a false teacher, yet once again.

1. Men are dead because of ONE MAN'S transgression.

2. Men are condemned because of ONE MAN'S transgression.

3. Death reigns in all men because of ONE MAN'S transgression.

4. Condemnation came to all men, because of ONE MAN'S transgression.

5. Through the ONE MAN'S disobedience all men are MADE sinners.

6. "Sin reigned in death". The reason that all men sin, is because they are dead because of ONE MAN's transgression, and they are made sinners as a result of his disobedience.

You have been fully rebuked for your ungodly view of sin and death.
