If your pion Jeb spent the tax payer's money like he did his campaign money we would have wasted trillions and gotten nothing for it. You are just sour grapes over your punk getting spanked by a very sharp business man.

-we need someone to run our country
- and
-all you need is a reality show
-someone to entertain you
-someone to validate your hate
-someone to blame for your miserable existence
-you are a victim
-you are an idiot
Were you objecting or is it only that you already have yours. :plain:

That said, of course Trump won't do half the nonsense he's promising. Who does? Who ever really has?

I watched Megan Kelly tonight with her one on one with four of the candidates, and I thought Carson was brilliant. It's too bad he hasn't had a chance to really speak like he did tonight....or I should say a chance to be heard by any large audiences. I simply cannot stand Ted Cruz, and I don't think he is going anywhere but down. I'm thinking the country is just down right sick of politicians...as I am, and that leaves either Carson or Trump. I'll take either one of them. Of course, realistically, that probably means Trump.

Carson has had his chances at the debates. I won't say he got a completely fair shake regarding speaking time, but he has had opportunities and I think he has come across poorly. I didn't see his interview with Megyn so I don't know how that would compare to the debates. Maybe he just isn't good on the big stage.

A Republican representative is calling on Rubio or Cruz to end their campaign in an effort to consolidate support around someone and against Trump. He also said that whoever ends his campaign could then be a VP candidate.

Would such a plan work if Cruz keeps going?
Would such a plan work if Rubio keeps going?
Would either of them be willing to end their campaign?
Quite a gamble.

Why would you think I'd forget that? :plain:

There's actually a pro-life contingent in the party, as you know.
-and
-trump is going to elect hillary
I think you're probably right about that, though I can't blame him for what republicans do. That wouldn't be rational. It would be like blaming democrats for Roe.
-but
-you already know that
I don't know it, but I believe it. I'm not sure who the republicans could put up that would beat her.
-and
-somehow you are comfortable with that
I'm sure that means something. I'm equally sure you don't know what...see what I returned there?

how do you think that's going to work?

do you think he's gonna just throw over the delegates he's accumulating to one of the other candidates?

-I can only speculate
-something in his taxes?
-the media may do more investigating on his business deals?
-some insider may go public?
-he may just refuse to spend more money
-his empire may not survive while he is president

so does he withdraw from the race?

what happens to his delegates?

-trump holds them
-and
-makes a deal with one of the other leading candidates
-this way he wins
-and
-the next president is in debt to him
-even if she is a democrat

You keep saying this but, as the delegates keep adding up for Trump, your thesis is not holding up. If you haven't figured it out yet Trump's not spending money has not effected his candidacy in the slightest. Face it Chrys, the establishment and the liberal democrats have poisoned the political well by ignoring the electorate, and people are willing to throw out political standards & truths for something 180 degrees different...for good or bad people are willing to throw a wrench in the political system in this country.

This is just a speculative fantasy...you don't know how this will play out at this point.
