We see that the double vaccinated are at greatest risk of infection and that the unvaccinated continues to be at lowest risk. This is what happens when the markets run society though. I would prefer government, especially my American government, because it protects justice and morality. The market doesn't do anything like that.
America was established to be ruled by a government with limited powers to protect individual rights, freedoms, and prosperity. The bigger the government grows, the less freedom and prosperity the nation enjoys.

Unless it's bigger to better protect individual rights, freedoms, and prosperity. If it's too small to do that well, then it's too small. And there are tons of governments in developing countries that are too small and that are crime ridden, like Mexico. The people can't afford a bigger government, so they are all victimized by their criminal elements; they can't afford their criminals basically. This gets fixed by countries making more money, then they can afford a bigger government, to fight crime, which is the violation of our rights.
America has grown to gargantuan size over the last 4 or five decades and what are we seeing? Government sponsorship of rioting, looting, and cop-killing, as well as sky-rocketing crime. How does that support the idea that a bigger government will make us safer?

25-33% of our collective income (i.e. tax) is paid to run our government, there are countries where it's closer to 50% (tax) to run their government. Those countries don't have the crime problem we do. So now what?
The more people on the government payroll and welfare and the fewer people working has resulted in major loss of income to the government, and the government has responded by jacking up taxes while hiring tens of thousands of IRS agents to ensure that those who are working are squeezed of every dime the government can get. And prices are going up as a result of taxes and government regulations going up so the economy goes down.
Add to this ballooning government those duped officials who think that poor people have a right to loot and burn and should be given no bail and lighter sentences for major crimes and we are not getting safer as we go more Marxist big government.
