It puzzles me that Chrys can be so arbitrary at times. I'm trying to get along here on TOL because I don't like ill will. But I know who my friends are!

My brother worked in telecommunications and my son learned much from him. He pretty much stays in Virginia now, up on his mountain.

My son learned much from him and some way, they know how to get them on the net??

I have no idea how they did it?

I have a Sony DVR box, I have to watch the show to come on. Because without cable, the way it works, there is no TV Guide. Once it comes on, I can record it and if another good one is next, it records intil I turn it off.
I wish I was not so old and addle-minded or I would be able to tell you how it get TCM?

My son set it up for me, and all I know is how to get the channel and when a good movie is on, hit the record.

There is not cable, it is from the net, but don’t ask me how?
O had a fine Christmas, and played with my two great granddaughters, I was able to have dinner with the family, yet I became tired and had to go bed ways when the babies were put to sleep. There, I had the full cable and recorded a few movies onto to watch later.
For new year, I spent some time with family on New Years Eve, then had to get some kip, then New Years day, I had some talks with my girls, and then flew back to Alabama for a months rest, so here I am.
I do hope you had a merry one and you and the wife and jack are all doing well.

My story is about the same concerning her. You either agree with her or you are anathema to her...I get it. Her loss, I personally don't have to agree with someone to be able to discuss topics, in fact if we all agree this place would be pretty boring.

She seems to be getting more abrasive as time goes by. She detests me which is her right, I on the other hand try to just steer clear to avoid the negativity she seems to attract. She certainly brings out the worst in people whenever she shows up.
