  • Well, you may be glad to know that apparently I am the new you. Everything is now my fault.
The way people flock to the Gazette and throw mud on it, it might be best to keep it as a newspaper thread with quotes around the board. Tambora had her newspaper thread which I am letting her have.
Weird really because I'd be more inclined to look for caramel corn in soy sauce..

The same to you TH.
Yes, interpreting intent would be a tricky business. It might be the only way to really get it right though. But honestly, part of me doesn't think the battle is worth it. :idunno:

Merry Christmas to you and your family. :e4e:
Yes, especially after what your dad went through. I'm glad you're okay, although I already knew your heart was good. :)

Thank you, and enjoy the in-laws, and Jack's good health, and your lovely wife. You have much to be thankful for, and I know you know that already. Merry Christmas.
I think that's true. Also, if it 'has' sat on a lawn, or adorned a hall for any length of period, such carries meaning not just against a special interest group, but also for usually a great majority more as well as then becomes history and heritage. We must be careful about dismantlings to appease a few disgruntled with only immediate concerns.
    :chuckle:

I think where I struggle with your argument is this. Perhaps displaying the 10 Commandments isn't necessarily establishment, it can simply be a recognition of the core values of the founders of our nation, but I'm not sure that's how many of the monument supporters view it. I think many out there do see it as a sort of establishment and an 'in your face' type sentiment.
no biggy Town, I made worse mistakes here. Thanks for correcting, I'm glad i didn't DESERVE it. :chuckle:
