I think the 5100 will be a great camera for you. It's a quality instrument, and flexible enough to do most everything most people want to do. Impressive list of in-camera editing functions, for one thing.
I've been doing some remodeling in the house, an overdue bathroom redo, a rebuilt pantry, and so on. Planning to get the den tiled next week.
And planning a launch for a new classroom college prep program for "C" students, who had previously been left out between special ed and AP courses.
A good time in my life, right now. I have a granddaughter, who stayed with us last week, and she is a joy, if as opinionated as her grandmother.
