Hey AMR, sorry it took so long to reply. I haven't been checking the forum as much as I would like. I just finished graduate school in May and I've been pretty busy. I hope to be interacting more. How have you been?

Re: the Frame-Kurtz debate. At first, the title confused me: "Do we need God to be moral?" I read it as meaning "God needs to be moral for us," instead of "[In order] to be moral, we need God." Thanks for the link.
I've been a wee feisty again lately...started with N/A's "New Age critical thinking" nonsense and was fanned by APh.D and the other fellow I put an egg timer on who's no longer with us...Having a bit of fun with quip, who seems to be doing a little better of late. Weary from a day of yard work in 100 degree (heat index) water vapor that is July. I may have to call it an early night/morning. By all means, carver away. :cheers:

Glad to be feeling decent enough to be about some. Was finally diagnosed with Systemic lupus erythematosus and am now on medication which will hopefully get it under control over the next month or so. At this point it's pretty variable how decent I feel from day to day.
Only at first...once I realized what I was dealing with it turned to sport. I always serve that sort of dish cold.
Just read your dismissal of the great AP.D. :chuckle: I'd like to see him and Let'sargue go at it apace...or maybe N/A and Beloved have at a soliloquy-off. :think: There might be a "potential contest" thread in the making.
You know, the longer I'm here the more your habit of approaching new posters with observant caution seems the only responsible course. I paid for my warm and fuzzy approach with the fraud rainee...it isn't my nature, but it's a practice I'm going to force myself into.
