  • Oopps...that was meant for TH. :plain:

And yeah...I enjoy my epics. Esoteric is quite engrossing.
Whatever works. Maybe one day I'll manage to see it without seeing it, but for now this is easier and really makes it a better experience.
Cool, I'll see if they have it on Google Play Music to add it to my library.

Yeah I too hope it doesn't devolves into negative stuff...it is a bit of a hostile environment for it I know but...we'll see I guess :)
I will have to listen to Bricolage & Out From Out; have not checked them out yet.

As to the subject, just got it started...let's see how it goes...:)
It's been an uphill climb, like a smoker giving up his weed, for me...but I noticed that things have been changing progressively for me. This time when Sod started in on the whole how I was raised/Alabama inbred crap I just shook head and slapped him on ignore. Couldn't muster outrage at someone so obviously tapped out on character and content. Sort of the same thing with zip, though in his case I think there's a good guy who really wants authority and has zero understanding of how to have a pleasant conversation...I think Eeset is likely next. :) And I couldn't help noticing today that while I was on not being able to even accidentally peruse their content appreciably improved the experience. :)

So hopefully this will stay in my mind for a while and I won't be tempted.
Maybe AMR has the right idea. Literally put everyone you find consistently uninformative or unenlightening and whose approach is needlessly derisive on ignore and leave off. It's likely a need for additional maturity with me that's held that point at arms length. :smack: Part of the problem of my profession and disposition is that we tend to be the sort of people who like to mix it up until the field is won and this place is like a comic book. You don't win. It never resolves. It can't or the comic is over.

That's so contrary to how I see things it's a struggle to keep it in mind.
Yeah, I hadn't heard that album until last night. Haven't heard all his albums, really, mainly Permutation, Chaos Theory, Foley Room and Supermodified. As far as the debate goes, wasn't it going to be about counterpoint? Hmm, well if musical theory was to be the subject of that venture, I wouldn't really have much of a case to make as it is really not my zone :p

But on a more personal note, I've been thinking about kicking off something for a a bit here which could possibly come out today
Finally had it with the declaration in lieu of, right wing nut jobs dying for any excuse to condemn and laid into Brandon on his pontifical point here. I've decided to alter my approach to that crew from here on out.
Wait...are you answering me on your page again? Else, there's no love in battle either, but that doesn't make all war an evil. Remind me again though, what's VM stand for? Voice mail can't be it....virtual music...vitamin muck...I may have a head injury.
I mean via VM that is. You simply cannot get any worse than what might be 'traditionally' spouted, but it's horrific and hopeless. No love in it that I can see. Anyway, hope things are well with you dude.

Hmm, I think I might have been even more terse in my last than the previous. I think your last response to me should actually give you more the pause for thought though...

    :e4e:
Not a problem. I think you'll find my response irenic enough. I remember a youth pastor, terrific fellow, trying to talk me into what I termed the "God business" a long time ago and telling me about the hell he meant to help me avoid.

I gave him my general response on hell as a motivation to someone who didn't believe in the author then asked him, "How would you feel about this pitch if you had a loved one who died outside of the faith?" And I'll never forget his answer. He had. A parent. I don't know if I was more horrified by or for him, but I wished him well and suggested, being familiar with what I considered his mythology, that he couldn't know how God would judge, but that if he insisted in believing in God he could at least credit God with doing a just, merciful and good job of it.

I still believe that. Well, really believe that now.
