Wow. That sure lights up his comments at the debate about his money buying favors. And no, he's not the only one to blame, unfortunately. For every buyer, there's a seller.

Here's the debate transcript:

TRUMP: You better believe it... I will tell you that our system is broken. I gave to many people. Before this, before two months ago, I was a businessman. I give to everybody. When they call, I give. And you know what? When I need something from them, two years later, three years later, I call them. They are there for me. And that's a broken system.
Q: So what did you get from Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi?
TRUMP: I'll tell you what. With Hillary Clinton, I said, be at my wedding and she came to my wedding. You know why? She had no choice! Because I gave.

Oh, good. I'm looking forward to it.

I don't know if I can sit through that documentary if he does very much talking in it.

Although I get to watch another episode of Humans tomorrow, so there's that.

I found the Trump documentary on Amazon so I'll watch it soon.

Getting there. I'm working two novels. I'd stalled on A Year of Summer, thinking I'd gotten to and resolved a conflict too son and not really seeing where things were going. That dam broke in a bookstore and I realized what the next two building conflicts were. Judah's Lamb, or whatever I'll call it is progressing, though I'm needing a sit down with a lawyer friend of mine to refresh on the early steps relative to my fact scenario.

And I've decided to teach more seriously, so hopefully by tomorrow I'll begin setting up for taking a half time schedule to take the second degree in education within a year. Going to be busy.

Or, well.

Reminds me of a time a while back when I went to a little Southern cafe around here. Ceiling fans and a blue grass and gospel band playing. It was like stepping into the past...that's the same restaurant where I asked once, loudly, if they served collards and managed to get a few astonished looks from tables further away. Gotta love small Southern towns.

If you want the worst of it take a peek at the latest Gazette. I've hit her low notes. It's the second to the last bit. Egad.

Thank you. It has been the good sort of busy. Completed my final thesis and I have finished all my course work. So this fall I will start ministring, then hopefully receive my ordination after new years.
