Gave the whole absurd shooting match a bit of thought and chimed into your thread. I'm a little sad seeing a few people I genuinely like trying to make the elephant in the room into a snake, if you recall the story, but like I said in closing, I hope they derive whatever they find meaningful from it and step away from my leg.

It was good, not as good as the preceding episode, though. What I like is that I'm left unsettled - caught between empathy for the synths and wanting to root for them, and knowing the danger of creating millions of Frankenteins who would play on that empathy in cold blue mechanistic synth blood.

I'm not aware of a rule against obvious sarcasm/satire. And in any event, he's outright lied more than once and is crying about that? It would be funny, but I really think the point is to distract from my observation about his hypocrisy on abortion. He once tried to come after me on a "What's more important?" line and there he is with a position that screams the very thing.
It's not something he want's people to spend much time on, I suspect.
