There are people who shocked me when they went off on one of those, like the first time I told rocket man he was mistaken about precedent and noted his odd use of "felon" and the problems with advancing that and the way it contaminated subsequent positions. Stripe disappointed by degree, but I can't say I was surprised. I've had a few on the left do something like that. Pure twice called me an apologist for the Christian Right, which I found about as puzzling...zealots of any stripe resemble one another more than they distinguish themselves from one another. Unless their zeal is for the rational and civil...but how often does that ever happen?

Sadly so...it was odd though, her immediately going to that when I was nothing but polite in asking for clarity and explained what I'd attempted. I don't think she really had it framed, was attempting something that would have looked silly and faced with that choice or making a groundless charge chose the easier, if hard to defend, position. Too bad. It's not a high character mark for her. Hopefully she'll do better. But that's one thing I've learned around here. If you have a handful of people you're right about, it's nearly miraculous. Too many people playing at things. Ah, well.

aCW is just a witless, angry troll, I guess. I gave him ample time to lay off the low and family aspect and he kept at it. Sheesh. I'm more disappointed by Angel not crediting me with an honest answer and inquiry...that she went to the insult card is something I've noticed too often with the hard right around here. Too bad.

I can't get that series streaming on either Amazon or Netflix. I can buy the DVD, which I might at some point, but will probably have to put it off for now. I still have Tyrannosaur waiting, though.
