So when CC wrote, "Oh my God, a Playboy!! Oh Lord, its the End of Days." My first thought was, no, the end of days you get four horseman. Here we just get a few jackasses roaring about the place.

Cruc has to be doing this for the fun of it. Sod? He keeps up the thin pretense he'll just end up on the discard pile again. He's not so much irksome as wearying. Like having an obnoxious kid sit behind you in a decent movie.

Cruc takes too many bone headed positions and shrugs off calls to attempt to put meat on them. He's absolutely trolling.

He's good copy. I can't help wonder if he's not running a less interesting version of Ken M.

Sod's on vacation for going overboard with the innuendo in a rep remark aimed at yours truly. A mod saw my note of it (and likely his ongoing and increased stalking of late) and pulled his plug for a few more. So that will make the place more pleasant for a few.

It appears that Trad is the turd in some people's salad around here. Never thought he'd come in handy after his full blown reversion...I wonder why anyone would waste a valuable education and insist on ignorance as a methodological approach...people.

CC is on time out. Hopefully he'll come back a bit calmer and show more restraint. I'm getting ready for the trip at weeks end. Just a little family vacation for five days or so. The wife is thrilled. She hasn't had much of a break since Jack arrived. It's time to spoil her for a change.

Well, he has the problems at any rate. On the gay fixation...I think the insecure see it as the ultimate insult. On the hard right it's just a half step removed from liberal. They think if they use them they're injuring more than their own reputation. It's that sort of blindness that makes me worry about what one of them would do if they had the nuclear football. :shocked: Or any power at all...which I think most of them seem to cede to anyone who can put anger into a simple sentence.

So, I keep thanking God that I found Christ before I ever read people like CC or Sod or Cl or Cruc. I think I'd ban them all if I owned the joint, just to put the best possible face on Christianity.

Exactly. I don't see racism as belonging to a political group, though I think you find that on the whole racism as an expression of a dominant culture, the sort that has power and can damage, is more readily located in the conservative political arena, where tradition, including the maintenance of power, is esteemed.
