You're in for quite a surprise then...

You're 26 and have plenty of growing up to do. Your too immature
to be attacking someone like me and hoping you'll win the debate!
What church or denomination are you affiliated with? You reference
yourself as "Other" So, obviously, you don't claim to be a Christian
yet, you troll around calling others "non-Christians" Irony at its best.

So if he's spiritually seated, doesn't that mean that he's still actually in heaven? How can he be spiritually seated with Christ and not be in heaven at this very moment?

No. Don't comprehend spiritual things very well do you?

Ephesians 2:5-7King James Version (KJV)

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

We are not physically in heaven here.

I wasn't talking about him being physically there. That's obviously not the case. I meant spiritually. From what Robert said he claims that he is spiritually there. If he is spiritually there, he is still there...just as Christ while on earth, was still in heaven:

'No one has gone up to heaven except the one who came down from heaven, the Son of Man who is in heaven.'
(John 3:13)

Do you believe the Bible?

If you believe the Bible then you will believe that those who are Christians, are "In Christ" and Christ is in heaven.

"And has raised us up together and made us to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" Ephesians 2:6.

God sees Christians as being "In Christ".

"For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God" Colossians 3:3.

Do you believe the Bible?

In believe in the bible, but not in much of what you say.

If you believe the Bible then you will believe that those who are Christians, are "In Christ" and Christ is in heaven.

You're not a Christian though...

It's rather clear, by what you teach and believe, that you are not a real Christian. A nominal, professing, pretend Christian...yes. A bonafide, genuine, actual Christian...no, not at all.

Calvinism is your crutch.

You apparently believe that you cannot be saved without it.

If you want to be saved renounce Calvinism and trust in Christ alone.

First of all, you are totally not dealing with the post. Why not deal with it rather than engage in childish behavior.

Secondly, Calvinism is not my crutch. I do think that Reformed theology is the best synthesis of the total teaching of Scripture.

I certainly do not think that one can not be saved without being Reformed. In contrast to some on TOL, including yourself, I have, to my knowledge, never indicated that anyone here is bound for hell, again including yourself.

Reformed folk do indeed trust in Christ alone for our salvation. And since you are so quick to condemn others, why don't you enlighten me as to where in Scripture being Reformed is equated with being outside of Christ.

Some People are going to hell for their sins against God, against His Law, and since Christ did not die for them, did not satisfy God's Law and Justice on their behalf, they must suffer the eternal vengeance themselves in their own souls, and God purposed that from the before the foundation !

That is really what its all about.

Salvation without Christ. Many refer to Calvinism as "A Christless Christianity". Many see no need to be saved by Christ, they believe that God predestinated them to salvation before the foundation of the world, so who needs Jesus Christ?

And now they want us to believe and to be accepted as Christians. Not in my book. And probably not in God's book either.

Are you going to 'hell', Robert?

Or are you already there?

Something to think about.

The Egyptian culture taught the Soul/Conscience was in a state of death/sleep/hell/ignorance while imprisoned in flesh, which was allegorically symbolized in various figurative ways, the lower mind of the first born of the flesh was Jerusalem below in bondage to the elements, the wakened higher mind was the Jerusalem above of the higher mind etc.....Hell/heaven is just a metaphoric state of mind.

GM you are a Christian of the traditional broad road, teaching the flesh and blood savior of the first born of the flesh Galatians 4:24, that is where you are still mentally.

I know for a fact that I do not say or believe this...

BD,

Pate has perfected the art of the straw man argument when it comes to Calvinism.

He's been corrected numerous times that his representations of what Calvinists teach and believe is incorrect and he continues to misrepresent them anyway.

Bottom line, Pate doesn't care what Calvinists truly believe, he is content to misrepresent them.

It's sad, really.

If Calvinism isn't your crutch then renounce it and trust in Christ alone and prove that Jesus is the only way to be saved.
