And his mother?
Should find a man to marry so he can take care of her so that she can take care of her children. But that seems to be frowned upon in society these days.
And his mother?
It's not frowned upon if that's what a woman wants in life. It's rather a case of women not being expected or obliged to conform to what other people think they should do.Should find a man to marry so he can take care of her so that she can take care of her children. Then she shouldn't complain when being a whore causes her problems. It's not frowned upon if that's what a woman wants in life. It's rather a case of women not being expected or obliged to conform to what other people think they should do.
What on earth are you on about? Then she shouldn't complain when being a whore causes her problems.

Our Christian school students typically score two grades higher than comparable public school kids on standardized tests.Considering that we're about 3 generations removed from any sort of "well educated" people, none of this is at all surprising in the least.
The teachers are dumb, because they were raised in government schools.
The parents are dumb for putting their children into government schools, because they themselves were raised in government schools, because their parents were raised in government schools, and their grandparents as well...
The kids are dumb, because the ones teaching them are dumb.
And so the cycle continues...
Get your kids out of the Godless government schools.
Depends. Plenty single mothers have support from family and friends so it doesn't necessarily have to come in the form of a husband or partner. If the woman wants that then absolutely fine, nobody with any sensible opinion would criticize her for that. However, women should not be obliged to fulfil some patriarchal, traditional ideal. And yet, it's better for a woman (and for her kids) who wants or has kids to have someone supporting her so that she can take of her children.
Like God's way.Depends. Plenty single mothers have support from family and friends so it doesn't necessarily have to come in the form of a husband or partner. Nope. Women aren't "sinning" if they don't get married and have children and nor should they be expected to just because some pompous patriarchs find anything else 'unseemly'.Like God's way.
God created marriage as the place for children to be born and raised by a father and a mother.Nope. Women aren't "sinning" if they don't get married and have children and nor should they be expected to just because some pompous patriarchs find anything else 'unseemly'.
I have no problem with marriage at all. I have no problem with women not getting married either. That was easy.God created marriage as the place for children to be born and raised by a father and a mother.
That you feel such hatred for that "patriarchy" shows where your problem lies.
Women should not be "sleeping around". Neither should men.I have no problem with marriage at all. I have no problem with women not getting married either. That was easy.
I didn't even allude to anyone 'sleeping around' anyway. If a woman chooses to pursue a career and not have children, is that a problem for you?Women should not be "sleeping around". Neither should men.
Sex and child bearing belong in marriage.
Of course not. This thread is about PARENTS as the title indicates.I didn't even allude to anyone 'sleeping around' anyway. If a woman chooses to pursue a career and not have children, is that a problem for you?
Well, it hardly fits in with the patriarchal, religious ideal though does it? So, if you've no problem with a woman pursuing a career and not having children then what's wrong with a woman choosing to raise a child by herself?Of course not. This thread is about PARENTS as the title indicates.
It obviously depends on circumstances.Well, it hardly fits in with the patriarchal, religious ideal though does it? So, if you've no problem with a woman pursuing a career and not having children then what's wrong with a woman choosing to raise a child by herself?
I asked them how they graduated from high school with no knowledge of the English language. I just repeated their answer here. And this was no inner city school system. This was in a rural town of less than 40,000 people and was predominantly white. There wasn't a single black person in the class. There were a couple of Japanese exchange students but they knew more than the local kids about the English language. How in the world were you privy to the grades of all your classmates?
Such as?It obviously depends on circumstances.
Abusive spouse would be an example.Such as?
No argument on that one. However, should be obligated to find another husband to fit in with the traditional, patriarchal paradigm instead of bringing up her child by herself?Abusive spouse would be an example.
