Who Justifieth the Ungodly

After Jesus took away the sin of the world and reconciled the world unto God He sat down on the right hand of God to wait until all His enemies will be destroyed.

John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
2 Corinthians 5:19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
The sinners Christ died for, He took away their sins, purged them away, thats Salvation Ps 79:9

=
Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.

If God through Christ has purged away our sins, God is the God of ur Salvation, and He did it for His Great names sake !

The sinners Christ bought with His shed blood who refuse to accept Him as Lord and Savior will never be saved but will end up in hell.

2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

If God purged away your sins, its Salvation, Its Justification, so only those whom Christ purged their sins away, are saved, and He did that solely by His Death Heb 1:3

Jesus will not purge away the sins of those who hear the word of God and reject it.

Christ blood cleanses and purges from all unrighteousness . Rejecting Christ is just another unrighteous sin men do, its natural as a sinner.

I agree with your post.
God's benevolent gifts are available to all, but not all will partake of them.
For some, the cost is just too high.

This comment isnt in agreement with my post, far from it. Heb 1:3 says nothing about anything being available to all. It says those Christ died for, their sins have been purged away. Heb 1:3

Didn't Jesus die to take away the sins of the world?
It is written..."And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." (1 John 2:2)
It is such a shame that some folks want to keep living in their sins, instead of submitting to God.

Who did He NOT die for?

Was the US highway system made for all the people to use?
In the same way, Jesus blood was shed for all the people.
Just because some don't use it doesn't make the road, or blood, disappear.
How can a person keep living in their sins if Christ died for them and purged them away ?
They never repented of sin, and got water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their past sins.
They didn't do their part.

Heb 1:3 says nothing about water baptism. Thats a mans work, Christ by Himself, purged our sins, then sat down at the right hand of God, accomplishment by Him !

I'll believe what the apostle Peter said about it in Acts 2:38..."Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
You must not have been thinking of how Jesus purges our sins.

I don't think you get the intent of "for they name's sake".

I guess that is why Peter said we are to be baptized "in the name of Jesus Christ" for the remission of our sins.

You obviously dont understand Peter, what does Peter or water baptism have to do with what Christ did by Him ownself ? He purged away our sins Heb 1:3

In Ps 79:9

9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.

The Psalmest here is talking about Peter and water baptism. Lord purge away our sins for Peter and water baptism sake !

For His Name Sake means for His Glory !

John wrote that sins were forgiven for Jesus name sake 1 Jn 2:12

I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.

Because He did the work, He purged away their sins Heb 1:3 which is Justification from sin !

Has nothing to do with water baptism !

Jesus did the work, now it is up to us to manifest that work in our lives.
Thankfully Jesus also gave us the means to benefit from "that work".
Repentance from sin, water baptism in His name for the remission of past sins, the gift of the Holy Ghost, rebirth, divine natures, pastors, teachers, prophets, His word, and other gifts of the Spirit.

Jesus did do the work, He purged away their sins. So no one Jesus died for can ever die in their sins. They have been purged away. So Rom 4:7-8

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

God will not impute sin to them whose sins Christ has already purged away.

Yes indeed, unfortunately, not all who Christ died for will accept such a loving gift.
He died for all, but not all will receive Him.
We have our part to do, in order to benefit from Jesus' loving gif..

They dont have to accept it, God wil not impute sin to them because Christ has purged it away. Its not an offer, Christ purged away their sins if He died for them. Heb 1:3

There isnt nothing to accept, God accepted Christs Blood, that sealed the deal !

Yeah, sure, but then what do you do? Is there anything to do now? As one of the elect? Or are you saying, just sit back in your easy chair and watch TV until you die? Don't you think the Lord has a path for us to follow? Something easy and light?

That is wrong.
Faith comes by hearing, not by blanket immunity.
It is an offer.
It is written..."If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:13)
I hope you are not going to write that we don't need the gift of the Holy Ghost to be saved.

How can they repent of sins that they dont have charged to them ? Their sins have been purged away. God remembers them no more, He doesnt lay them to their charge. Heb 1:3
