Where Is Mother Teresa Now?

Then you must believe the Catholic gospel is valid and can save; that it is in fact THE Gospel of salvation.

I do not believe the Catholic way at all, I do believe that Catholics can and will be saved by the gospel. They are saved despite their church not through it.

Gotta raise them eyes of yours Musty...God is high and lifted up.

When people want to know God and develop fellowship with God and with His son and with other believers, we must turn to scriptures to learn how.

I John 1:1-5

Unless we learn and believe scripture, our lives are empty and void of God in any significant way.

At Trent, Rome cursed Paul's Gospel and reafirmed a false one. No Catholic can believe both at the same time: they'll hold the one and reject the other or vice versa. At which point they cease to be Catholic by Rome's own rules.

Gotta raise them eyes of yours Musty...God is high and lifted up.

It's not my eyes that have the problem. I'm not the one with the ever-crucified and dying "Jesus" that can't cut the deal on justifying me before God until after I've died. And Catholics are by no means alone in having some form of faulty "Jesus."

A long-term lack of joy and peace such as that experienced by Teresa is
indicative of someone living in accord with the flesh instead of living in
accord with the Spirit.

†. Gal 5:22 . . But the fruit of the Spirit is joy, peace,

†. Gal 5:25 . . If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Teresa also expressed concern that if a God does exist (she was never quite
sure) then He may not like her and might even be quite inclined to condemn
her.

I would say that's the natural conclusion somebody would come to when
God is nowhere nearby to convince them that they have nothing to worry
about.

†. Rom 8:15-16 . . For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to
fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we
cry out: Abba! Father! The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that
we are children of God

When somebody has the spirit of adoption, they don't worry whether God
likes them or not because the Spirit himself has a way of getting through
and making sure they know.

Teresa also said something to the affect that "Jesus is my husband, I do this
for Him"

Well, if Christ really was her husband, then he sure was abusive. One of
Teresa's complaints was that she never experienced even a glimmer of the
Lord's presence, and because of that referred to him as the "absent one".

According to the Bible, husbands are supposed to love their wives. A man
who never spends any time with his wife hardly qualifies as a husband that
loves her.

The controversial 6th session of Trent also contains all this:

CANON I.-If any one saith, that man may be justified before God by his own works, whether done through the teaching of human nature, or that of the law, without the grace of God through Jesus Christ; let him be anathema.

CANON III.-If any one saith, that without the prevenient inspiration of the Holy Ghost, and without his help, man can believe, hope, love, or be penitent as he ought, so as that the grace of Justification may be bestowed upon him; let him be anathema.

CANON X.-If any one saith, that men are just without the justice of Christ, whereby He merited for us to be justified; or that it is by that justice itself that they are formally just; let him be anathema.

It sure sounds like they're cursing anyone who disputes Paul's epistles. So, they were confused and just cursing everything?

Note the grammatical tense of the "have" verb in the passages below. It's
present tense rather than future, indicating that Christ's believing followers
all have eternal life now-- no delay, and no waiting period.

†. John 3:36 . . He who believes in the Son has eternal life

†. John 6:47 . .Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.

†. John 6:54 . . Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal
life

†. John 5:24 . . I assure you, those who heed my message and trust in God
who sent me, have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins,
but they have already passed from death into life.

†. 1John 5:13 . .I write these things to you who believe in the name of the
Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

The possession of eternal life is very crucial because according to God's
testimony, as an expert witness in all matters pertaining to life and death;
people who lack eternal life also lack God's son. In other words: people
without eternal life are quite christless.

†. 1John 5:11-12 . . This is what God has testified: He has given us eternal
life, and this life is in His son. So whoever has God's son has this life; and
whosoever does not have this life, does not have His son.

How many christless Christians are there? Well; for starters: Roman
Catholicism currently consists of approximately 1.23 Billion followers who all,
to a man, including the Pope, insist that no one obtains eternal life till
sometime after they pass away.

Well; that can mean but one thing, and one thing only. Seeing as how
Roman Catholics lack eternal life, then according to God's expert testimony;
Mother Teresa lived without Christ, and she passed away without Christ.
Bottom line: Teresa was a christless missionary.

Well; no wonder the poor woman complained about never feeling the slightest
glimmer of the Lord's presence. She was like a blind man in a dark room
looking for a black cat that isn't there.

It sure sounds like they're cursing anyone who disputes Paul's epistles. So, they were confused and just cursing everything?

Trent says if anyone says works play no part in being saved, they're accursed.

CANON 9: "If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else [besides faith] is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema."
Paul said human effort plays no part in being justified -- not even from doing the works of God's own Law. Rom 3:20, 28, 11:6; Gal 2:16; Eph 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; 2 Tim 1:9.

You can't believe both.

One of them is wrong.

Who will you believe, Trent or Paul?

Don't dispute Paul, that's all.

Can anyone confirm if she wore the brown scapular?

"Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be
lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life." (John
3:14-15)

The incident to which Christ referred is located at Num 21:5-9. Long story
short: Yhvh's people became sick and tired of living in the desert and eating
manna all the time at every meal. But instead of courteously, and
diplomatically, petitioning their divine benefactor for tastier food and better
accommodations, they became hostile and confrontational.

In response to their insolence; Yhvh sent a swarm of deadly poisonous
reptiles among them; which began striking people; and every strike was
100% fatal, no exceptions. In no time at all, much people of Israel died.
Then those not yet dead got nervous and appealed to Moses for help. In
reply; the Lord instructed Moses to construct a model of the beasts and hoist
it up on a pole in plain view so that everyone dying from venom could look
to it for relief.

Now the key issue here is that the model was the only God-given remedy for
the people's terminal condition-- not sacrifices and offerings, not tithing, not
church attendance, not door to door missionary work, not scapulars, not
confession, not holy days of obligation, not the Sabbath, not charity, not
good deeds, not good behavior, not piety, not Bible study and Sunday
school, not catechism or yeshiva, not one's religion of choice, not self denial,
not the so-called golden rule, not vows of poverty and/or chastity, not the
Ten Commandments, not the Eucharist, not operating hostels and
orphanages in India; no, none of that: not even prayers. The model was it;
viz: it was all or nothing at all-- there was no other option. Whoever failed to
look to that model for protection died: no exceptions.

In other words then: Christ's sacrifice of himself to satisfy justice for the sins
of the world is the only God-given option for protection from the second
death depicted at Rev 20:11-15. The default is terminal; no exceptions.
People who believe in mystical items like scapulars and whatnot, instead of
putting all their trust in Christ's crucifixion, are dead men walking.

†. John 3:18 . .Whoever believes in him will not be condemned; but whoever
does not believe has already been condemned.

Ok. What does that have to do with you being a hypocrite for not behaving as Jesus did: with love and compassion instead of fear, anger, bigotry, and a misplaced sense of importance?
