The republicans sold out their conservative base a long, long, time ago and they have absolutely no intention of giving any position of power to a constitutional conservative...ie. they want your vote and you will give it to them without question. I personally am done with the whole vote for the "lesser of two evils" philosophy, if the republicans don't want conservatives in the party than I will write one in on election day but, I sure as hell won't be giving that vote to a Bush, a Romney, or any other establishment RINO, they can lose again for all I care, they certainly have shown they have one agenda, and it is not what the voters put them in office for.

Not only were there no "death panels" in the Affordable care act, the provision that Palin claimed were for death panels, were first proposed by a republican, and were in the bill at his urging:
