God didn't need a "mother", as God has always been.The problem is that there is ONE Mediator between God and man.

Mary cannot hear you. Let alone hear you, she likely cannot even understand you, as she was a Hebrew woman who's last moments on earth were nearly two thousand years ago. English didn't even exist at that point, and she likely has been more concerned with things going on in heaven, than the things on earth, to bother spending the time to learn every language on the planet that has come into existence since her time on earth. Could she have, sure, but then you have to deal with the fact that she is not omnipresent, she literally cannot be at all points on earth simultaneously, and thus cannot hear, even if she wanted to, every single prayer made to her, let alone be able to understand all of them, let alone be able to distinguish between them.
This is why JESUS is our Mediator, and not a human woman like Mary.
