As noted by Business Journal Daily, the FDA originally authorized nonprofit Battelle Memorial Institute “to sterilize 10,000 surgical masks in Ohio daily, despite its ability to sterilize up to 160,000 masks daily in the state alone.”

Gov. DeWine slammed the agency in a statement on Sunday, calling the move “reckless.”

“If Battelle’s technology for sterilizing face masks for re-use works safely, limiting it to only 10,000 a day is foolish. If it doesn’t, allowing it at all is reckless,” Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost posted to Twitter Sunday night.

“Hoping [Donald Trump] intervenes today — but if not, I’ve got my team researching a lawsuit for tomorrow,” the AG added.

Within hours, DeWine was able to obtain the full authorization, for which he specifically thanked President Trump and the FDA for acting quickly to reach resolve.

Well if we've learned anything from #Okdoser's hounding of jgarden, we are supposed to take great umbrage at any Canadian for having the gall to comment on politics in the USA. We are then supposed to harangue and bull-bait you about it until you get banned. Isn't that how it's supposed to work?

It may surprise you to hear, but I haven't watched a Trump press briefing in well over two years. Neither do I ever read his tweets. Well, that's no big deal as I don't read anyone's tweets unless they are posted into a news article. I have never joined twitter. My first impression of it was that it was the greatest tool ever designed to create misunderstanding and division with it's character limit. I've never changed my opinion of it. It's all about creating division and strife.

I'm often accused of hanging on Trump's every word just because I investigate the facts and report the dishonesty so rife in the media. I don't watch the news either as I don't own a TV. Haven't watched TV in going on 5 years. My next door neighbor who is dying of cancer gets so made at the news he has to switch channels and programs because of all the idiocy he sees or he'd have a stroke.

your experience mirrors mine except I do Facebook, mostly hobby groups until this year, then more recently political groups, primarily leftist. The hobby groups (old cars, boats, tractors, etc) forbid politics and religion.

And I tossed my TV in 04

i'm not a fan of Trudeau for one main reason - the reason I was so opposed to Obama - they both were unqualified and inexperienced for the job when they first took office. I prefer competency in my leaders.

and I liked Harper - his politics and his personality
