The Canadian government has just offered euthanasia as a "service" to the those who can no longer support themselves under Canadian policies. Things are getting extremely evil.

Can you say power grab?

... once May’s bill passes, the Trudeau government will start insisting opposition to their “green” plan amounts to hate speech (because it indirectly endorses racism). Additionally, “it will become ‘bigoted’ to oppose carbon taxes.”
That may sound insane. But for the legions of woke warriors, rationality doesn’t factor in.
It’s not about whether a concept can be defined or practically solved. What matters is what progressives’ opinions and indignation signal about their moral superiority to the rest of us.

Interesting isn't it that Russia's gas prices have remained stable throughout the entire Ukraine war. We are getting slaughtered on them and have sanctioned Russia supposedly destroying their economy and yet their grocery stores are mainly full and their grocery prices have been stable for the most part with products from countries making all kinds of threats against them and yet those products are in abundance in their stores.

We are the ones who have impoverished ourselves to play political games.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau imposed harsh crackdowns on truckers who protested Covid vaccinations, and is now pushing a bill allowing citizens to report on others who they fear may post something hateful on social media.

Two decades ago, when I was 4 years old, my parents immigrated to Canada from India in search of greater freedoms, autonomy and economic opportunities. They’re core Canadian values — enshrined in our national anthem, which gloriously heralds “The True North strong and free.”
However, the past two years have seen a near complete erosion of the foundational liberal values that have attracted millions of immigrants like myself to this country.

Just generally, Canadian central government seems more volatile than American. It seems to flail around wildly if you ask me. Even when one party here sweeps the White House and both houses of Congress it's never as wild as it seems to be in Canada, Australia, England, New Zealand.

I don't like it. :p

If the Trudeau Liberals have their way, invasive and cumbersome searches of personal digital devices are coming soon to a Canadian airport near you. The government’s proposed Bill S-7, introduced in the Senate, aims to amend the Customs Act to dictate when customs officers can look through cellphones, tablets, laptops and more.

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) has publicly criticized Bill S-7, writing that “The very low (and legally novel) threshold of ‘reasonable general concern’ for border officials to conduct a search of a traveller’s personal electronic device does not adequately protect travellers’ privacy… Indeed, the threshold of ‘reasonable general concern’ is a sniff test, not a standard.”
