You can both be right. We'll bury them next to each other. :s******: :shovel:The funeral march is decidedly for the democratic party

Trump's Election an Echo, Not Foreshadowing
Not really. Remember the Baby Boomers were the progressive liberal hippies (free love, drugs, anti-establishment) of the 1960's who fought for change through protests, riots, sit-ins, love-ins, Woodstock, and draft dodging. Yet, today the Baby Boomers as a whole are very conservative.
According to research today's Millenials are just as "racist" as their parents.
Millennials are just about as racist as their parents
When the Millenials are middle aged and are in power politically and economically (about 15-20 years from now) they'll act just like the Baby Boomers. As the Millenials get older they will become more conservative as a generation. This shift is starting to happen already.
Millennials more conservative than you may think
Another example is when Millenials get married and have children they prefer traditional gender roles which makes sense since the traditonal patriarchical led marriage is the best way to raise a family.
Millennial Men Aren’t the Dads They Thought They’d Be
You nearly had an aneurysm coming up with that one, didn't you.More ignorance from the queen of ignorance, Town Heretic.
That's probably because you can't read very well, which would explain a lot of your posts. :think:The only echo I see is you saying what liberals said about Reagan, that he was a buffoon and his politics would soon pass.
It isn't, but you'd have to ask and listen to know that, which doesn't appear to be your strong suit. The Reagan Revolution has also lead to our overwhelming control of state houses and legislatures. Of course, this is all lost on idiots like Town Heretic.
Like the old saying: "If you aren’t a liberal when you’re young, you have no heart, but if you aren’t a middle-aged conservative, you have no brain."
Nah. It just proves the left has its share of LINOs.Just goes to prove that other old saying, A conservative is a liberal who got mugged by reality (or by other liberals).
YAY!As the Millenials get older they will become more conservative as a generation. This shift is starting to happen already.
I heard said as "A liberal is just a conservative that hasn't been mugged yet".Just goes to prove that other old saying, A conservative is a liberal who got mugged by reality (or by other liberals).
That's your point, though the "idiot" part does go some way to demonstrating that the further out on a political branch you go the lower the branch tends to sag. Anyway, my point was that he appears to have principles unattached to his person and when those "principles" required something of him he became as loudly something else...not much principle in that at all, really. And so, my use of LINO.The point is that he GOT hit, idiot, by the Left.
That's what the left thinks of the right and the RINO business, which was also a part of my response. He learned a 100 year old lesson: your side always ends up eating its own.
I've known people like that before. Had a friend who went on and on about the evils of drink and premarital sex until he got a hot girlfriend who liked wine. . . Then he found a new principle. I know people like you, too, incapable of crediting an honest or thoughtful impulse that isn't lock step with their own.Now he knows better. Apparently there's no such hope for you.
Thanks for underscoring my point about extremists and that limb. :thumb:You have to give credit to TH, he is 100% in his consistency of error, leftism, and ignorance.
All the Democratic Party really has to do is regroup and get ready for the next time up. Stop sabre-rattling and venting and begin the work of sounding a hopeful, inclusive, compassionate vision of a united people and a government engaged primarily with the welfare of its citizenry.
town said:If you're a conservative, you have two alternatives. You can simply savor the day and momentarily roll back any number of left driven institutional notions, until the inevitable wave of youth and minority growth within the population washes over you and undoes your reversals in the midst of your own inevitable undoing, or you can strike a new note, actually grow your base, incorporate a conservatively progressive approach ...
No, but you'd have to understand what I actually wrote and have a demonstrable interest in real discourse. You're just a troll who follows me around. Meh."the welfare of its citizenry"??? :freak:
oh, you mean unless they are unborn children
or decent people with morals who understand that adultery, pornography, homosexuality and other perversions are wrong
or people who believe in law and order
good one - we won the white house and both houses in congress, and you think the answer to our dilemma of being successful is to compromise?
Dead serious -- this guy was the stereotypical liberal Koolaid drinker for whom Obama could do NO wrong, last we spoke some years ago.
