Wait till you all see what's coming in the next two weeks on the Clinton, Russia, Fusion GPS, and FBI corruption.... Those are the same four groups that actually colluded to corrupt the presidential election.

Still waiting :yawn::nightall:

Even though the final conclusion of the Mueller probe is still uncertain, it seems quite possible that the probe may end with obstruction of justice charges against Trump and those in his inner circle, but not include any charges of working or communicating with the Russian government in order to influence the 2016 election.

While the ultimate headline-grabbing crime of active collusion with the Russians may well turn out to be a dud, Mueller has already uncovered a number of documented crimes during his investigation.

First and foremost, Flynn, along with Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos, pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about their contacts with Russian officials late last year, and Flynn was under scrutiny from Comey at the time he was fired by Trump.

In a tweet last year, Trump wrote that he knew Flynn had lied to the FBI, which is why he fired him in February.

"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI," Trump wrote. "He has plead guilty to those lies."

But in stating this fact, Trump might have given Mueller exactly what he needs — the admission that Trump knew about Flynn's crime when he fired Comey. Mueller's eventual interview with Trump will likely touch on when Trump became aware that Flynn had spoken with the FBI, and when he realized that Flynn had lied to the bureau.

He likes to repeat things to himself to soothe his hurt pride. His dems have taken such a massive hit they've never recovered. Their false hopes and fantasies are crashing down again, just like the wee hours of election night. Only this time they've been strung along by the Fake Media for 18 months like rag dolls. It's a deeper kind of hurt they feel after all their emotional investment.

It is all about to be exposed the dominoes are falling......

First Flynn, then Manafort, then this:

George Papadopoulos told an Australian diplomat that Russia had "political dirt" on Hillary Clinton in May of last year, a conversation that might have played a role in the FBI's decision to open an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, according to a report published Saturday.
The New York Times reported that Papadopoulos, then a foreign policy adviser to Donald Trump's campaign, was drinking at an upscale London bar when he told Australia's top diplomat in Britain, Alexander Downer, that Russia had political information on Clinton.
A few weeks before their meeting, Papadopoulos was told Moscow had thousands of emails relating to Clinton, CNN has reported.

https://www.cnn.com/2017/12/30/poli...stigation-white-house-donald-trump/index.html

Apparently, when the stolen emails surfaced later, from a Russian source, the diplomat notified the FBI. Popadopoulos was the source indicating collusion, not an opposition research study done on Trump by other republicans.

But it appears that a more likely charge will be obstruction of justice.

That's where the path of this investigation directly points: Mueller has spoken to all the crucial witnesses except Trump, and has the full account from the two principals, namely Comey and Flynn.

That "target" statement would demolish Trump's public stance, and completely alter the stakes for an interview.

How will Trump react?

He faces two basic problems. The first is that he can't testify under oath. The second is that he must.

He can't testify under oath because he has left a trail of patent lies and shifting accounts of central events, in particular Comey's firing, which Mueller's team will use to destroy his credibility. Moreover, there is strong evidence that Trump already knew Flynn had lied to the FBI when he told Comey, "He [Flynn] is a good guy. I hope you can let this go."

Most ominously for Trump, he can't testify because he is in the dark about all of the evidence that Mueller and the grand jury have already — in particular from Flynn, who is cooperating with the investigation. Not knowing what Flynn has testified to, Trump will be unable to maneuver around it.

All of which means that if he testifies, he is unlikely to stave off the obstruction charges and quite likely to expose himself to some counts of perjury. And while his defenders in Congress might try to pooh-pooh the obstruction as old news, or the product of Mueller's bias, they will be hard-pressed after the Clinton impeachment to defend Trump against perjury charges.
