"A Florida judge has ordered Trump lawyers Alina Habba, Peter Ticktin (Trump childhood classmate) and their associates to pay $50k in sanctions and fees and costs to a defendant Trump named in his unsuccessful RICO suit against Hillary Clinton," New York Times correspondent Maggie Haberman reported.

"This kind of sanction is why so many Trump advisers and lawyers were distressed about his decision to file a suit against the NYAG in Florida," she added.

Correspondent Andrew Feinberg of The Independent reported, "Judge Middlebrooks is all but saying [Alina Habba] and other lawyers who filed the ridiculous Trump vs. Clinton lawsuit should be disbarred."

The judge said the "conduct was willful, not simply negligent" and cited things Habba had said while being interviewed by Fox News personality Sean Hannity.

Donald Trump and one of his attorneys were ordered on Thursday to pay almost $1 million in penalties over a lawsuit filed against Hillary Clinton and others which alleged a massive conspiracy against Trump before the 2016 election. “This case should never have been brought,” U.S. District Judge Donald Middlebrooks of the Southern District of Florida wrote of the case, which was dismissed in September. “Its inadequacy as a legal claim was evident from the start. No reasonable lawyer would have filed it. Intended for a political purpose, none of the counts of the amended complaint stated a cognizable legal claim.” Middlebrooks’ 46-page order imposed sanctions of $937,989.39 against Trump and lead attorney Alina Habba over their suit, first filed in March 2022, which claimed Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, and senior FBI officials had conspired to cook up false ties between Trump’s campaign and Russia. The judge also slammed Trump’s “pattern of misusing the courts to serve political purposes,” adding: “Frivolous lawsuits should not be used as a vehicle for fundraising or fodder for rallies or social media.”

The Russian collusion story was a lie invented by Hillary and promoted by lying leftist democrats and Trump is right to sue Hillary for the damage her lie has done to America and to him personally.

Here is the interesting thing about that. The birth certificate story was also invented by the Clinton political machine but when Obama ended up winning the general election the left was able to shift that story on to the right as if it was all the rights fault. But in the case of the Russian collusion story which was also an invention of the Clinton machine, as you correctly noted, they hung on to that one because it served their political purpose. I doubt that the clintons ever imagined in their wildest dreams that that stupid fake accusation would take on such colossal proportions, and end up in fake impeachments fake investigations and the theft of an election. Of course it certainly helped that half of America was stupid and ignorant enough to actually believe it, and it also helped that they had a corrupt fake News press willing to regurgitate every lie, just like they do about the January 6th insurrection that never actually happened
