Hasn't really bothered me much, of course you can't miss what you never had.

I'm convinced someone into extreme body modification has tried it, but have they considered the down side?

You can type out your answer any way you like, though I prefer wearing pants. It's a personal decision.
Wicker Furniture Huh? :chuckle:
Seems like a good idea in the showroom....
You either have enormous pants or tiny utilities.

:plain:
I usually wear a coat or a vest with pockets that I put stuff in.

You know, this might have been an even better topic if we got to prepare other people's back packs.

Light House: four Spider-Man comics and a will (so he could leave them to whoever found the body).

Letsargue: ((nuthin!)) WOOOOOO-HOOOO! How you like that, mR. geniuses fancy, pants?!?!?!!!!

Ok - in the back pack:
EPIRB or PLB (because getting home is desired, Letsargue is right)
Binoculars, take apart one side for lens if stranded on island to start fire,
Hand Ax for BEMs (bug eyed monsters) and cutting stuff to hopefully eat.
Big plastic sheet for shelter and solar still,
Nylon cord.

If six would fit I would try to get a net in there.

Yes, good choices. I also thought that perhaps a mirror or magnifying glass would also be helpful for fire starting and maybe flashing to possible rescuers?

Does that mean my fishing kit could only have one hook in it? :jawdrop: :chuckle:

That's a good point.
If you can have a fishing kit why can't I have a knife kit that has a fire steel and diamond honing stone in the sheath and call it one item?

(and a big thanks to everyone for not mentioning tactical flashlights)
