As a reminder, if you are traveling with an Arab man, aged 18-40 who seems a bit odd, tell your flight crew that you are concerned and would like him removed from the plane. If he has a Bible in his bag and can competently explain several (true) scriptural verses, let him travel. If he is a Christian, he is no threat in most cases.
Why would I do that? There are literally thousands of flights every day and we get a terrorist attack once every 10 years (if that) and most have been thwarted. They're far less common than normal accidents. I don't sit on the plane worrying about those.
Um, that's unamerican regardless, nor would it do anything. They'd figure out ways of hiding their religion anyway. But to ban an entire religious group from flying when MOST are perfectly law abiding citizens? And can you IMAGINE how they'd react? Can you imagine how you'd react if Christians were suddenly banned from some sort of major form of travel because a handful of Christians decided to kill abortion doctors?
