Only if you devil the eggs and smother the Bunnies in cream. :rotfl:

Here's a great recipe to try!

Easter Bunny Fricassee

Ingredients
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Easter Bunny (It has to be the real deal; mall bunnies will ruin the flavor)
1 Spanish onion, small dice
1 green pepper, small dice
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon hot (not sweet) paprika
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
1 cup canned whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
1 cup dry sherry
1 cup chicken stock
2 baking potatoes, like russets, cut into large dice
1/4 cup capers
1/4 cup frozen sweet peas
1/4 bunch parsley, chopped

Directions
In a large saucepan, heat the oil and brown the rabbit on both sides. NOTE: He may protest, but be persistant! Add onions, peppers, and garlic, and saute for 10 minutes. Add paprika, bay leaves, oregano, tomatoes, sherry, and chicken stock. Cook for 1 hour. Add potatoes and capers. Cook for 1 more hour, or until potatoes are tender. Serve and garnish with sweet peas and parsley.

If only...the distinction between that claim and the real thing is found in examination and illustration. Neither of those tend to be a part of your practice where my criticism was aimed.

By way of illustration:

That's just self serving hooey, a conclusion in need of support and absent fact. And you do a great deal of this while finger pointing. Now I've had my fill of it and intend on whacking you a good bit with the old stick.

Easter can be sinful. Technically, theologically, strictly speaking, at the root of it all, when looking at the details, the bottom line is, is the true meaning of Easter, [of Jesus dying so that we might live if we only believe that He paid the debt for our sins, rose again to seal the deal, so that we may reunite with Him forever (starting now) so that we can live for Him right now & forever], being replaced with bunnies, eggs, coloring, hide & seek, & other silly (or not) things?

Hopefully, theoretically, hypothetically, somehow, Easter can be used for good (Romans 8:28), however, because all things can be made to work for good for those who are following Him, and the eggs can symbolize salvation, & the Easter Bunny can symbolize Jesus who has come out to give us hope, restoration, salvation for those willing to come find it, to seek it out. Easter can be really good or bad. Usually, it turns out to be quite harmful because kids lose track of the real meaning behind it. The bunny can only be good if you use him to explain how Jesus came to save us all from a debt we cannot repay by ourselves.

Naw. Paganism is not to be found in candy. As for commercialism, I don't think either I or most of the people here would say that's necessarily evil.

Though I honestly have no problem with children hunting for eggs and eating chocolate bunnies, it is interesting to note the orgin of the popular tradition.

Easter and Ishtar

These days, very few people know why we celebrate the way we do. Some people who have done their homework and researched the orgins of the holidays say it's wrong for us to hunt eggs and eat chocolate rabbits at Easter. My own parents adopted this idea, but if we criticize those who are innocently trying to make Easter, the day of our Lord's ressurection, a fun day for their kids, we can become overbearing.

There are too many obvious sins out there for us to take a stand against. If we continue to add to the list, we are in danger of becoming legalistic.
I do say "Happy Resurrection Day" rather than "Happy Easter" (holds more meaning to me).
If you wanna bite off the head of a rabbit while enjoying Christ's provision, more power to ya, but spend a little extra on superior chocolate or it might be a sin to eat carbona wax mixed with sugar and chocolate powder.
Oh, and JellyBellys, not that cheap (peep?) stuff.

so...look over here in the cookie Jar; don't notice that men destroyed the life of the teacher, cut him off, left things unclear. an would never be made responsible for evil actions via cleverly writing an offence in to the will of God as the defence.

No, Chrys. I'm not talking about spirited disagreement. I'm talking about the endless parade of snide dancing remarks or lawyer jabs without support on an issue and likened bits that have led me, over time, to attempt a different approach to you. I didn't begin that. You did when you became thin skinned on a principled disagreement and began to express that irritation at nearly every possible turn. Again, I'm a counter puncher. I don't start fights with anyone.

My chickens lay brown eggs and blue eggs. They are delicious! I'm not sure about evil, though I do have a rooster that I suspect is a rapist!
