That's a matter of opinion,....and I'll contest the gesture behind that, which centers around the definition of 'cult', which I've addressed here. - Caino referred to the religion of Paul, as it developed and centered more on Paul's personal revelations as a 'cult of Christianity'....in contrast to the more simple teachings of Jesus about the kingdom of heaven as taught in the gospels and further expounded upon in the UB. These center on principles such as 'faith', the kingdom of heaven and The Fatherhood of God and Brotherhood of Man.

Apparently some here have 'sensitivities' concerning the words 'cult' or 'pagan',....these are but versatile 'words' pending the context in which they apply.

Anyone can say "I'm saved",...we'd have to question the value or validity of such a 'concept'. They'd also have to prove that such condition of being 'saved' is more than just a 'concept'

The ole faith vs. works debate doesn't fly too far, unless one sees that faith, if its living and dynamic, naturally produces good works,...a living faith will be fulfilling itself thru ACTIONS. Faith inspires and empowers ACTION in obedience to the will of the Spirit, so it satisfies the law of God perfectly, being perfected in love.

If one is led by the Spirit they will do the works of the Spirit, and manifest its fruits. If one is not doing God's will, or fulfilling the law (thru love), he is not manifesting any 'salvation' let alone expressing the divine nature so people will see his good works and glorify their Father in heaven. It is thru those very WORKS that people recognize you are children of God, and can therefore give honor to 'God'. In fact, it is this way that we show ourselves as being 'perfect' even as our Father in heaven is 'perfect',....perfect in our loving others (good or evil). This is what matter to 'God'...while a 'concept' of 'being saved' may be more tenuous.
