For those who don't/won't take the Bibles word for once saved
always saved, I suppose there are advantages. After all, you
could be saved when you wake up in the morning and be unsaved
by dinner time.
Then, the very next morning you could start the whole process all
over again. As long as you create good deeds/works, live a good
life with plenty of nice thoughts and avoid sins of the flesh, you can
remain saved that day. However, if you mess up, you can just get
saved again before the Sun goes down.
There is one problem though. What if you wake up saved and forget
to repent and confess a few sins during the course of the day? And,
unfortunately, you should die before confessing/repenting those sins?
You would lose your salvation and end up in judgment and the Lake of
fire for eternity. Thank God I'm only speaking of those who believe this way.
For we who believe/trust in our eternal position in Christ, there's no need to
be concerned/worried because we're in the Body of Christ, have the Holy Spirit
indwelling us, and we have the righteousness of Christ.
Good luck to those who don't believe in OSAS. After all, you're on your own.
