The true defintion of the word liberty

Again, you're making a woeful attempt at establishing your point.

We could both agree that rape is indeed universally wrong....though we might disagree on less obvious moral situations .....say, abortion, homosexuality, euthanasia....etc.

No, I am just answering you. You said morality is relative. There are no absolutes.

And that is false. But we can agree to disagree.

Are you really really sure that you want to stick with man?

Again, your views a relative to the lens you see the world through.

While the word "misery" is subjective, disease and death aren't open for interpretation.

Man's laws change all of the time (abortion, pornography, homosexuality). Are you sure you want to stick with the laws of moral relativist man?
Morality is a human invention. An important invention. A great invention. Still though, we made it up. No where in the laws of physics will you find morality. If you just want morality that doesn't change, you can go with any book that expresses some kind of morality. However, that doesn't make morality anything more than the invention of men, even though it is one of our better inventions.

Personally, I wouldn't choose your book written by barbarians for my morality. I believe slavery is and always has been immoral. I believe killing people because they say what you believe is wrong has always been immoral. I believe slaughtering everyone (including the infants!) in a town because they don't worship your god has always been immoral. And yes, I believe that makes my sense of morality not just different from yours, it makes it better! I also believe my capacity to change my beliefs on morality as new information is discovered is a strength, not a weakness.

They are Commandments and Words of Wisdom handed down to the Prophets and Disciples by God/Jesus Christ. You being a Christian and all (cough cough, gag, gag) already know that.

BTW, it was man that perfected immoral behavior.

Is it immoral in your mind to lie and call yourself "Christian" when in reality you're a God-hating-secular humanist-atheist?

I'm a godless heathen. I make no secret of that. I've said it plenty of times on this forum and in real life. In fact, I have a godless heathen shirt. As I've said before, I can't seem to get into my profile and change things through tapatalk.

And the congregation in unison said "Duh!"

So you marked "Christian" because the atheist choice wasn't available at the time?

No such question came up when I signed up on tapatalk. It might have had I used a regular web browser.

You do realize you can go into your profile and change your religious affiliation, right? IF you are having a technical problem, you could always ask a moderator.

Of course, you can do as you like if it doesn't bother you to mislabel your beliefs.
