Be a true apologist now, Cruciform, and prove that your priests have authority, given by Christ, to forgive sin and by acts of penance and indulgence, remit the punishment due to sin.

In the mean time, all others, take a good look at what the RCC Catechism says at #1472 and #1473. If non-Catholics want to enlighten others on the teachings of the RCC, it is necessary to know what it teaches.

This particular practice, of indulgence, is so spiritually corrupt, that if it is resurrected in the minds of Catholic laity, some may actually go insane trying to work their way to heaven and get time off in purgatory.

I want to witness him standing on the practice, as based on the words of Christ, which is the proof given in the Catechism.

I know what you mean about Tradition. It one of the reasons the teaching authority of the RCC and her apologists, hate the Five Solas of the Reformation.

P.S. Can you find a picture of the poorest of people, crawling up Church steps to pay for an indulgence?
