The NT says the OT means something other than what it looks like. It looks like it is about race, but it is not, says the NT. The NT says this retroactively; NT passages say things we don't think are there in the OT; but it is Christ's role to says what's what, not ours.

Rather, it may symbolize many things, but the history remains history, and the promises to those it was promised to.

Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

hardly forms an alliance with Judaism, which replaced the Promise with the Law. How is Christ Davids' son? Hmmm! And which Israel? Hmmm?

OH? as in 'That rock was Christ'? The promises were transfered from David to Christ in Is 55 (Acts 13). Get up to speed. The NT is the reality toward which the shadow or childtrainer of the OT was moving.

btw, on the election question in Rom 11...
you must have noticed that in v7, those who were not elect were hardened, so election is not a blanket term.

He also knew that as obvious as it seemed that his countrymen would help in the mission, he only saw some being saved, v11. Not all. There never was a blanket statement about Israel the race. It is always about the remnant.

More irony, as you do not really understand what the "OT" is.

If you knew you would say. You do this all the time, and in any arena, it is the suffocation of learning and conversation.

what you mean is that we are supposed to ignore what Paul and Hebrews say it is, and ask D'ists first. Always ask D'ists because they 'made sense of out of the Bible when they launched their system.'

1Pet 1:5 (AKJV/PCE)
(1:5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1Pet 1:13 (AKJV/PCE)
(1:13) Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Why does Peter speak this way?

Translation: Here is pic of you, lecturing on the above disjointed mumbo-jumbo:
