It doesn't matter where in the world you are if you are using God's Calendar (created by God in the beginning) as it is calculated by when the new moon is seen from Jerusalem. I think you might be using the man made Hillel II calendar (invented in 359 AD) which uses the 19 year Metonic lunar cycle to mathematically calculate when new moons are.

Peace

Shalom.

Our day in The United States of America follows that of Israel.

I do not know what you are talking about.

We are in the eleventh month. You think that it is month 2.

If you do not know when the new moon was, I understand.

Shalom.

The human spirit does not process information, the brain does.

God told mankind's progenitor, "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

Satan said, "You will not surely die."

A few of us believe God, but most people believe Satan.

The seat of conciseness is the Spirit. It is what separates us from the animals. Like dogs for example. :)

When Adam ate of that fruit he did indeed die a spiritual death that very day and he also died physically at the age of 930 which was with in the prophetic 1000 year day.

6000 years for mans toil and then we rest in the Messiah's 1000 year millennial reign. 6 day for work and a day to rest.

Yes only the first, second, seventh, and eighth months have names in Hebrew but the Jews later adopted the Babylonian names for all 12 months:

Nisan
Lyyar
Sivan
Tammuz
Av
Elul
Tishri
Heshvan
Kislev
Tevet
Shevat
Adar

And today is only the 28th on Jewish Rabbi Hillel II calendar, click here: https://www.hebcal.com/converter/

On God's Calendar it is the 27th, this is proved because the new moon was seen over Jerusalem on the 18th January and there is no way you can deny that because everyone there saw it and posted about it:

I have a birthday and I was born in the month of Elul, but Pesach is observed in Aviv, the first month on the Hebrew, Biblical, Torah, Jewish Calendar. There are Three Annual Feasts and Seven Holy Days in and of Torah that are to be observed that we observe as Torah Observant Jews.

I do not observe January. I do not know why you mentioned it.

Today is Shlishli (Third) the third day of the week.

I do observe Rosh Chodesh.

I do not live in Israel.

I have not followed any of your links. My mind is too valuable for me to do so, when you are a person who is teaching what is false and pointing me to links.

I do not observe the Roman or American Calendars.

I do observe Chanukah and Purim and certain fast days.

You follow the 'man made' Rabbi Hillel II's calendar that he invented in 359AD.

You do not follow the new moon Torah calendar God created in the beginning.

You are ignorant of all these facts because you choose not to look at links that would educate yourself about these facts.

New moon was the 18th in Jerusalem and not the 19th, your brain is being challenged and you don't like it. :nananana:

Incorrect. I have no one to discuss this with.

I do not observe January. Rosh Chodesh is not based on a calendar beginning with January, such as the American and Roman Calendars.

Passover is in the month of Aviv. It shall be the first of months to / for you.

This is not the month Nisan. Now Nisan was observed before Hillel I believe as it was accepted or adopted by many during or following the Babylonian Captivity. You can read about this in the TaNaK, though month names there do not tell the whole story.

I do not need you educating me when you do not allow for these simple truths to be revealed.

Rosh Chodesh is not the same as the new moon. It is not about astronomy or astronomical observations. Observation was based on witnesses in the temple. I do not know if there is a place that the witnesses came from.

I keep track of every day in a notebook. We did have a full moon this month. I cannot remember if I wrote it down. It made perfect sense to me.

Shalom.

The first slither of the new crescent moon was sighted over Jerusalem on the 18th of January which began day 1 of month 11 (Shevat). This was witnessed by all who looked up at the moon that night and it means today is the 27th and not the 28th, because you are following the man made Rabbi Hillel II calendar he invented in 359AD and not God's calendar of the Bible that Jesus followed.

1 Samuel 20:18 + 24-27
18 Then Jonathan said to David, “Tomorrow is the New Moon feast [Day1] . You will be missed, because your seat will be empty.

24 So David hid in the field, and when the New Moon feast came [Day1], the king sat down to eat. 25 He sat in his customary place by the wall, opposite Jonathan, and Abner sat next to Saul, but David’s place was empty. 26 Saul said nothing that day, for he thought, “Something must have happened to David to make him ceremonially unclean,20 The Christian’s Guide to the Bible surely he is unclean.” 27 But the next day, the SECOND day of the MONTH, [Day2] David’s place was empty again. Then Saul said to his son Jonathan, “Why hasn’t the son of Jesse come to the meal, either yesterday or today?”

Read it and watch your calendar crumble. :chuckle:

Apparently you are a day ahead of me and not in day. It is not day to you. Should we be having this discussion then? Do you know?

It is the 28th of the 11th month. January is not the time to be making an observation for Rosh Chodesh. Remember, the 11th month has no name. Does (did) it to or for Hillel? I imagine that it does. But the month names you refer to predate Hillel.

You said the first slither. Of the new crescent moon. I do not know why you have done this.

The new moon is observed by sighting the first sliver of light on the moon. This is after the astronomical new moon, which creates confusion for those who observe the new moon on their Roman American and astronomical calendars.

Rosh Chodesh means the Head of the Month. It is not the same thing as the new moon.

The word may be slither. It may be the new crescent moon. I do not know your evidence or why you use these terms. I do not refer to a new crescent moon. This is poetry. The word is crescent but it was apparently about a new moon.

Shalom.

The sighting of the first sliver of light on the moon was seen in Jerusalem on the evening of the 18th of January, this was Rosh Chodesh and began the 11th month! Thousands of people saw it and you can not deny this fact. Therefore today is the 27th not the 28th. You only believe it is the 28th because the Hillel calendar you follow uses the 19 year repeating mathematical cycle that only approximates the real new moon sightings. This means it is sometimes a day out such as this month.

Education is a wonderful thing Jacob. ;)

I am not playing dumb. You are playing mean.

If you do not recognize the truth then putting someone down with something you believe to be a lie is not a good strategy.

I grew up studying the Bible. Then I began to observe the Torah. Chanukah and Purim are not observed on the calendar from Torah.

Everyone can see this except you. Just ignoring all this makes you ignorant and therefore dumb but if you have seen this but are choosing to still ignore it that makes you disingenuous and a liar.

You have to be either dumb or a liar there is no other explanation.
