Please pray for Mike Tyler, my girlfriend's brother; he was struck by a semi while trimming his grass... he is in ICU.

Mike is recuperating. He had an encounter with God, without recognizing it as such (at least as yet). A nurse for the state of Michigan's Department of Corrections who said she NEVER gets off of work late got off late that day. As she was headed home, she saw the accident take place and was putting compresses on his wounds within ten seconds of his head hitting the pavement for the fourth time. She had one bystander call 911, the second she had tear up his own T-shirt and she used that to stop bleeding. He had staples in his head, a broken humorous, scapula, sternum, seven ribs and one meta-tarsal. He had road-rash all over his body, after being ejected from his bobcat when a semi hit him doing about 70 MPH. Not just the passing nurse but REAL guardian angels had ahold of him, to keep him from being killed. God has plans for his life, he just isn't aware of that fact yet. Please pray that this wake-up call will cause him to take his life seriously.

Also: PLEASE pray for Travis' (a friend) mom, Becky: who has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

WOW! I have no doubt that you are right about Mike. I'm so glad he is recovering!
Will add Becky to our family prayers as well as Travis and the rest of Becky's family for healing, strength and hope!

Mike has been released from the hospital, but continues to have short-term memory loss and disorientation due to head trauma.

Not sure, he's resting, to heal the broken bones and hopefully to regain his composure. It's been tough going and he's in a bad way financially and he has had several other compounding long-going issues in his life. At least right now, his wife is back with him, taking care of him and we're hoping for the best for both of them.

I do not believe he is. He was raised in a Christian home but either is a non-believer or backslidden.

Please pray for my neighbor's wife: Anne... her daughter has Stage 4 lung cancer and has been getting sick due to kidney problems from the therapy she has been getting. Anne has not been eating and has lost 25 pounds or more. She is tiny to begin with. Please pray for her... she has seven other kids that want her well. :thumb:
