I didn't say that.we're only allowed to send rep comments that praise the recipient?
you support democrats, whose stated position is to protect and expand abortion "rights"
and you vilify trump, who has done more in the past two years to end abortion than any president before him
I didn't say that.
I said ABUSING the rep system.
Do you support abortion rights in cases of rape ...
, incest,
or when a pregnant person’s life is in danger?
What, you don't know what it means to respectfully disagree?guess we need to have explicit directions about what that entails, because that's a significant change in policy
nope
nope
you mean a pregnant mother, right?
only when the child is going to die anyways
What, you don't know what it means to respectfully disagree?
This is getting off topic.
Talk to sherman about it. She would know more about it than I do.well, then take it over to the "TOL at the crossroads" thread and unban me from that thread - as it is it looks very subjective, which leads to uncertainty and randomly enforced policy, which is a great way to chase people away
Trump supports the right to choice in all three of scenarios.
Does your support of him also make you pro-choice?
Talk to sherman about it. She would know more about it than I do.
which is unfortunate and i hope he can be convinced to examine his position and adjust it
but we're talking about what, less than half a percent of all abortions?
i think it's great that not only does he oppose abortion for the other 99.5% of all abortions, he's taking positive actions toward that end
only if you enjoy misrepresentation and dissembling
Agreed but abortion isn't the end all for a lot of voters as far as issues go.
Which is exactly what calling Rusha pro-choice or a "supporter of infanticide" is doing.
it's a bell-weather for me - tells me more about a candidate's character/morality/values than anything else
i wouldn't call her pro-choice
i'd call her a supporter of abortion, because she supports candidates who are for unqualified pro-choice policies - the sort of candidates who cheer when Gov. Cuomo announces legislation allowing full term abortion in NYS
Agreed and it is for me as well. That isn't to say a voter has to agree with a candidates platform from top to bottom in order to vote for him or her.
If one doesn't believe a person should have the right to choose to abort, there is a phrase for that. It's "pro-life".
Then you're OK with misrepresentation and I could just as easily call you in favor of choice in the cases of incest and/or rape.
this place was thriving when it was a sandbox in which everyone could brawl and the whiny crybabies were mocked, not coddled
Start your own thread. This about the death penalty.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Joe Biden would support Congress enshrining abortion rights into federal law “should it become necessary,” his presidential campaign said Tuesday, following several other Democratic candidates in promising to take that step if elected president.
