My father was a Nazi SS, and I find your portrayal of them as being "leftard" rather offensive. You have a few holes in your history education, but... at that time in Germany, there were only Nazis and Communists. The Communists were leftist. So... please. "Communist leftard bias" is more accurate.

It seems like you have swallowed Nazi propaganda hook, line, and sinker. The Nazi's and Communists were two leftist groups fighting for control of the country of Germany. Once they took power, the Nazi's wouldn't share and got rid of the Communists. For this reason some idiots think they were ideologically opposed, but their moronic logic breaks down when one realizes that the Brownshirts were also slaughtered.
You also have no clue about German history. At the time there were three other major parties - the Nationalists, the Socialists, and the Christian party. Now, to be honest, this was a version of pick you own poison, but if I has to choose at that time, I would have chosen the "Christian" party.
Remember, Hitler joined the Worker's Party. He added Nationalist and Socialist to the name to appeal to a greater number of people outside the workers. Just like the Democrats, he would give different speeches to different audiences depending on which one would appeal to them.
For this reason, one has to examine the policies enacted by Hitler as opposed to the cherry-picking his speeches. The policies Hitler employed were the same as communism except that there was a
real racial anti-Jewish streak in it. The policies were enacted on a racial rather than socio-economic basis. Instead of killing all the rich people, the Nazi's killed all of the Jews. Nazi Germany and Communist Russia:
1. Both had government control over the means of production.
2. Both had concentration camps or Gulags.
3. Both stopped free-speech.
4. Both engaged in wars of territorial aggression.
5. Both massacred large portion of their population.
6. Both took property from one group to give to another.
7. Both had one party rule.
8. Like the Democrats, both used violence to obtain power.
Your father was an evil man. Hopefully, at some point, you stop following in his footsteps.
