Say it two other ways, or you don't yourself know what you mean.

That's "or you prove otherwise yourself; that you yourself don't know what you mean" :chuckle:

1-YOU confuse Paul's mission with Israel's.

2-YOU confuse Paul's mission as being what Israel's mission was to have been.

3-YOU are confused.

4- :chuckle:

Your "Israel's mission" is imaginary. The issue is veiled vs Christocentric understanding. It never was supposed to be what the veiled people thought.

You think so; D'ism thinks so; Judaism thinks so. But that's why you never answer what Gal 3:17 therefore. Your system is a fraud because of that.

That's why I appear "confused" and you think cartoons communicate.

Nope. You appear confused because you are.

What you said just now about "cartoons" is one more evidence against you by your own hand.

The fact is that many a "cartoon" depicting a key turning point in American history has communicated that turning point like few words have.

You are just another carbon copy robot of another man's parrot.

There - a perfect, composite caricature of you in words :chuckle:

More non-answer from Danoh. You're professional at it.

What is the summary of Gal 3:17? why are you not 'all over' the thread on Gal 3:17?

What do you think veiled means? In terms of Judaism?

You don't understand that it's all a progression, which is why Tet classifies you as followers of Darby. It all began with him, and progressed to people like Bulinger, then people like Stam and so on.

People couldn't simply arrive at your views, because they would be laughed to scorn.

That's why when the Light exposes them they start spitting guile.

Even so, both "sides" or all "sides" should stop expressing whole opinions about what the other are like and just talk about details. It will improve your ability to communicate, and you might see something not to disagree about.

So where is the disagreement? I'm bumping this because a wave of Catholic questions came through and it's like no one knows where some of the great threads on 2P2P went.

You mean you are unaware of the historic connection between D'ism and RCism?

I'll see your Lacunza and raise you an Alcazar - you mean you are unaware of the historic connection between Preterism and RCism.

Who ever said books "about" are completely useless?

The history of theology is about responding to pressures in history. D'ism came about through the Bretheren to try to do something about the Catholic--Protestant friction. Futurism came about to do something about the depth of unbelief in modern German philosophy. (What could be more compelling than a 'resurrection' of Israel in 1948?). The D'ist futurists wanted to provide an overwhelming counter to such modern philosophy, so they bought the whole futurist scenario, and made the Rev a timeline of future events.

As far as that goes, the desolation of Israel in the 1st century was so complete, that there were some ECFs who thought 'this can't be right' and proposed that there was to be another episode, but they did so 1-2 generations later. The idea that it is in the NT is ridiculous, but you can see why they wanted to do so.

The Dispy view came from the desire of the flesh to reclaim that which it lost, only to find that all they reclaim is a piece of dirt which will cover them all to about 6 feet down under it.

Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
Heb 12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
Heb 12:17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

In that era, both Futurism and Preterism were developed to deflect shame from the Pope.
