UV light treatment spoken about by Trump is a study that started in 2016. It has been undertaken by an internationally hospital recognized for it's skill and innovation, Cedars-Sinai located in California.

Led by Mark Pimentel, MD, the research team of the Medically Associated Science and Technology (MAST) Program at Cedars-Sinai has been developing the patent-pending Healight platform since 2016 and has produced a growing body of scientific evidence demonstrating pre-clinical safety and effectiveness of the technology as an antiviral and antibacterial treatment. The Healight technology employs proprietary methods of administering intermittent ultraviolet (UV) A light via a novel endotracheal medical device. Ali Rezaie, MD, one of the inventors of this technology states, “Our lab at Cedars-Sinai has extensively studied the effects of this unique technology on bacteria and viruses. Based on our findings we believe this therapeutic approach has the potential to significantly impact the high morbidity and mortality of coronavirus-infected patients and patients infected with other respiratory pathogens. We are looking forward to partnering with Aytu BioScience to move this technology forward for the benefit of patients all over the world.”
The company believes the Healight platform technology has the potential to positively impact outcomes for critically ill patients infected with coronavirus and severe respiratory infections. The company licensed exclusive worldwide rights to the technology from Cedars-Sinai for all endotracheal and nasopharyngeal indications. Patents have been filed by Cedars-Sinai Department of Technology Transfer, and Aytu BioScience will manage all aspects of intellectual property prosecution and filing globally. Aytu BioScience expects to partner the product outside the U.S.

UV light is a proven disinfectant. That fact has been known for decades. Get those two words? Proven and Disinfectant? The proof for this is all over the place. It's undeniable. Applying UV light internally is applying a proven disinfectant internally.
Show me a single study that says UV light is not a disinfectant. I'll tell you right now that there isn't a single study that denies that fact. Unfiltered UV is used on a daily basis to disinfect drinking water in third world countries? You know how? By placing bottled water out in the sunlight, which contains UV light, for six hours. So people drink "disinfectant" on a daily basis around the world with zero harm. How is that? The disinfectant is put into their drinking water.
So, per capita, Germany and the UK donate about 4 times as much as the US. Thanks for pointing that out.

Trump has received everything he could have possibly wanted from that "Lamestream" media - hours of daily, free, unfiltered, prime-time, nationally-televised coverage of the White House briefings giving this President the freedom to structure it any way he wanted!
Given the star billing of his own "docudrama/soap opera" where the medical professionals were relegated to "props," the one thing this President couldn't mask was his narcissistic personality that alienated an increasing number of Americans every day - the "fake news" gave him enough rope and Dr. Trump turned out to be his own worst enemy!
Apparently this President is now throwing temper tantrums in the White House over the hostile questions and the the "Lamestream" media, while bragging about his record ratings - with no mention of the 25 million Americans recently unemployed, the worldwide pandemic, almost 1 million confirmed cases of COVID -19 and the nation surpassing 50000 deaths!
Now this President, in his infinite wisdom, has requested that the graduating class of West Point reconvene so that they can have the privilege of listening to his commencement address - true to form he will absolve himself of all responsibility should any of America's "best people" become infected with COVID-19!
