review above artile which covers many of what is in article provided in above quote.
my thoughts:
1. marxist tradition is not basis of socialism. many individuals have had opposing viewpoints to how best accomplish socialist goals.
in article i provide, it goes well into description as to how&why.
2. strasserites! so tim suggests idea by these brothers should be supported by hitler and then govt. except their idea involves support from USSR who have bad relations with germany for various historical reasons.
furthermore, their ideals on nationalizing industries are not mentioned. if it would involve same tactics as marxism: this would mean a division of class which goes against nationalism. this is addressed in more detail in above article.
3. ruthless over broad masses? uh. USSR did exact same thing. Only a few florished in soviet union where opposition or different ideas were quickly slaughtered or imprisoned. Action among both countries are same.
4. quote drop.
again tim, as others on here, compare nazism to marxism/communism. but these are not the sole examples of socialism. industry does not need to be controlled 100% by govt. in order for that govt. to being socialst.
to my knowledge. Venezuela does not have 100% nationalized economy. China has implemented non socialist policy to immitate capitalistic economy.
above countries and nazism are socialists
