There are far more children in this world dying from starvation and preventable disease, than there are victims of terrorists. The solution for these children does not require a gun, rather we should love God and our neighbour.
We were talking about the use of justifiable force against wicked aggression and now you are talking about children. Those two subjects are unrelated in the context of our previous discussion.

It's difficult to "provide for your own" if you do not protect their very lives.
You mention children getting murdered.
More children die from starvation, abject poverty and preventable disease than get murdered. We seem to ignore the plight of these children and focus on shooting the bad guys.
Don't get confused. If you see a perp shooting kids with a gun do everything you can to stop the perp in his tracks. Don't let your mind wander off to worrying about kids going hungry.
The illegitimate democrat leaders and their incompetent appointees have made the world a much danger place, been responsible for the murders and imprisonments of thousands in occupied Muslim territories, and the serious deterioration of our security and prosperity at home.
You can take a Muslim out of the Middle East but you cannot take terrorism out of the heads of deluded Muslim fundamentalists.
How many of those Afghan refugees have had family or friends killed as a result of the American invasion of Afghanistan? If they are refugees, they will have lost their homes, jobs and been disconnected from their families. They probably didn't want to become refugees,How many of these Afghans will have got justice or compensation as a result of the American invasion.
9/11 was wrong, but the chances are that none of these refugees were involved in 9/11, yet they have suffered unjustly because of the US retaliation.

Claiming the deaths in Afghanistan were due to the actions of the American peacekeepers and not the acts of the murderous Muslim terrorists is stupid.

So the Americans went over to Afghanistan, and their intention was to be peacemakers.
Americans brought peace and stability to the region to counter the barbarism of the Taliban. The Afghan people want to be free of barbarian tyrants just like free Americans do.
It was a war against terror. Americans went over to Afghanistan with bombs and guns, they killed people who had nothing to do with 9/11.
If America truthfully went over as peacekeepers, they would have had very different objectives.
Yes, war against terrorism requires the use of bombs, guns, and deaths, and yes, hunting down terrorists in their own country required involving that country in the horror of war-time deaths. But, as in the case of the US fighting for the freedom of the South Vietnamese people alongside South Vietnamese people also fighting for freedom resulted in thousands of casualties, so fighting alongside the Afghan people for freedom from murderous warlords resulted in casualties that were hard to avoid. That is what happens in wars.
