Why of course the people don’t want to go to war. Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can hope for is to come back to his farm in one piece. Naturally the common people don’t want war, neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood.
But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether in a democracy, fascist dictatorship or a parliament or a communist dictatorship.
Voice or no voice the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for a lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.
I have no respect for leftist weenies who think America should never respond to terror attacks, either abroad or at home.
Morons in America think Americans are a bunch of ignorant boobs who follow their favorite leaders without thinking. That may be common to many leftist democrats, but patriotic Americans who understand the value of God-given freedom tell their leaders what to think and do, not the other way around. That is why democrats claim patriotic, God-fearing Americans are like terrorists in our own country, which is insane.
If you were God fearing, then you would live by the greatest commandments. You love love and pray for your enemies and forgive. It seems that you fear man more than you fear God, because the solutions you want need guns and bombs; the same tools as terrorists.
