I will not vote for trump

Did the Democrats do that just for this election?

No, they permitted it in 2012 as well.

In 2012 the GOP declined to permit.

We've only had this modified open primary since 2011 and it excludes the office of President from the NPP ballot, but a voter can request a ballot from a party which permits it.

Here are a couple links if you're bored: :)

This shows that the Democrats permitted and the GOP didn't in 2012:

And this is a bit more information on the history of CA primaries, prop 198, and NPP voters.

You never know from one day to the next what Trump will do. I'm still looking for this reason and others. I just read about the Constitution Party nominee for 2016, Darrell Castle. He looks pretty good, but I don't know if he has a chance to win. I think that he would appeal to most conservative Christians. Take a look at http://castle2016.com . He's pro-life and much more conservative than the mainstream party candidates.

Just checked out the web site. He looks alright.

I love how you say, "I don't know if he has a chance to win." Hugo Chavez has the same statistical shot of winning the POTUS election as he does. :chuckle:

Bernie is an old fart whose main supporters are college students who want aid from the government because they chose dead end classes

That's changed a lot. I own my own company, I'm 52 and fiscally conservative. I'm shocked how much my own thinking has changed now that Trump has exposed the depth and volume of morons in the GOP. I knew we had them, but now it's just frightening! Hillary is a corrupt Alinsky-bot.

Trump is NOT the Republican Party.

Trump is NOT the Republican Party.

He is now. This is what's been stewing beneath the surface for decades, growing stronger and more urgent, especially with the advent of the first black presidency. And it is the outcome of a bit of a coup, but the party has been allowing some of its activists to wink and nod at the very elements that now run the show. It stands to be a very inauspicious and ironic end to the Party of Lincoln.
