If the grandparents are good grandparents and physically and emotionally more capable than the day care, then that's a possibility. Depends on the day care as much as it depends on the grandparents, and for how much of the day, etc. A lot of factors to consider. Although disaster was always one paycheck away, I was able to stay home with my children, and they were the best years of my life. Not every mother has that opportunity, because life isn't in black and white that way. Nevertheless, you don't "grow" grandchildren.
